Wood-Plastic Composite (WPC) floor accessory is manufactured from a combination of plastic, natural fiber and some additives using special equipments. - Q: what should you use on a cement floor that has been painted with paint. spray paint gloss finish or floor wax. ?
- you can get wax for concrete floors...Lowes, Home Depot...just ask them...you need a polisher (one of those rotary ones.)
- Q: I am considering having Karndean flooring fitted in my living room, does anyone have this? It's the wooden floor full plank design that I am interested in. What exactly is it, does it look good, is it hard wearing, are there any negatives points about it?
- Karndean is a well respected manufacturer of vinyl both sheet and plank. Plank vinyl is almost exclusively for commercial use so I assume that your floor will be a sheet vinyl with a wood plank pattern. Karndean makes some of the best looking vinyl floors I have seen. The patterns are realistic and the textures match. It is sometimes hard to distinguish a high quality vinyl from wood until you walk on it. In comparison with other vinyl floors, there are no negatives. In comparison with real wood there are a few, such as lower durability. Vinyl cannot be refinished and look good after 80 or 100 years. It will hold up well though with good maintenance. You can probably count on 15 years. Vinyl is superior to wood in that it is not sensitive to water. All in all I am sure you will be satisfied with the appearance and quality of a floor like Karndean.
- Q: I'd like to know as the question states the average height of an office building 50 stories tall, from ground floor floor to the roof. TY :)
- each floor on average is 10 feet, so the 50 story bldg is 500 feet
- Q: I recently purchased a product called Rejuvenate Floor Restorer to add some shine to my laminate floor as it had a few dull areas from heavy traffic. This product said it was safe to use on every type of floor and would not leave any buildup or residue. I even read several great reviews on it before trying it, so I guess some people had a good experience with it, but not me.
- Laminate flooring is supposed to be very easy to care for, only slightly damp mop needed for spills, and regular dusting for dirt. You shouldn't use soap since it dulls the surface. Laminate floors do scratch, so the heavy traffic areas are probably just affected by scratches. Since you used that product, I would suggest trying some non abrasive cleaners... do some spot checks to make sure it works, and doesn't give an effect you don't like before doing the whole floor. Maybe if the surface seems greasy, you could try some mineral spirits?

- Said it was "oil", I think really is not oil. It should be essential oil it. Should be your own playing the floor, playing thick, the oil after solidification, the formation of noise. The problem is not, over a period of time, will be good.

- Since it glued to the floor as you say,it has to be a wood flooring. Minor scratches can be touched up with a stain or a touch up pencil. You may have to do some urethane but thats hard to do in small spot and have to look good. Pergo is more into the floating floor ( laminates) line of flooring. If it is a laminate, then there is nothing that can be done to hide scratches. Chair leg protectors and theres several types are good or a area rug to protect the the floor. - You can but you need to be carefull make sure the old vinyl floor is secured down tightly other wise the new floor may come up. But I would strongly recommend ripping up the old floor and putting the new floor directly on the subfloor. I also recommend putting down a new subfloor if the old one looks bad.
