- Q: I have a memory foam mattress topper that was vacuum packed in its original box, and when I took it out originally, it expanded to many, many times its original vacuum packed size. I live far away and need to ship it to myself now, but now that it's not vacuum packed and shrunk, I can't get it much smaller than the largest of my suitcases. Is there any place that I can go to get it industrially shrink wrapped or vacuum packed (preferably in the DFW area) so that I can get it down to at least a fraction of its original size? The home vacuum sealers won't do the trick; this mattress pad is much too strong and large for what they are intended to do. I've tried and nothing works, I'm thinking only an industrial stength vacuum packer will work.

- My Dyson vacuum cleaner was absolutely the best vacuum cleaner I have ever owned! I had two cats, one of whom was a long-haired Maine Coon and I killed several vacuum cleaners trying to keep my house clean. The last one prior to the Dyson was a Kenmore that was in the shop every month due to clogging. It was always under warranty so it didn't cost me anything to get it fixed, but it kept breaking. One day, I was so fed up with the whole thing that I spent the money on a Dyson and never regretted it. When I moved overseas, I kept very few items . . . I kept the Dyson. It's in a storage unit, waiting to be used again. Sure, it's ugly, but it does the job like no other. Good luck on your search for a better one.

- My dog is scared of loud noises, vacuum cleaners, spray bottles, dishes clanking, the stove being turned on etc. The thing that works the best is to give him lots of encouragement. Tell him what a good dog he is, give him treats and encourage him to stand up and be a happy puppy. Do NOT push him into anything though. As soon as you force your dog to do something he is not comfortable with he might snap at you because he is scared and has been abused before. (I think my dog has been, we got him from the humane society). So the important thing is no bullying, no physically shoving him, no hitting. Pet him and have a happy voice. This seemed to really work with my dog in becoming more confident and not as scared. **Also it's important to reinforce his good behavior (or less scared behavior) every time it goes on. My dog sometimes relapses but after encouragement is fine.

- In my experience, some kids are like that. They may focus on a particular television show or character, may act like an important person in their life, or may just be innately curious in nature. My 19 mo is always digging into things, something my 4 yr old rarely did. My nephew is 4 and can tell you how a toilet works, some of the names of the parts, etc. I believe that they will outgrow that fascination and others may take their place, but it is not abnormal behavior for that age from my experience.

- No I don't think they are any better than the cheaper models.Previously I had a $99 dollar Sanyo it worked just as good was much easier to use than the Dyson.
