- Q:I plan on buying a new xbox friday and i want to transfer my stuff to the new xbox but the cable costs like $100.00 and im only going to use it once. So can i rent it? Or will i have to buy it then return it when im done?
- buy one on OKorder for like 30$ and save it for a day when you need it
- Q:I recently began to have an issue with my Compaq Presario 5108US where it would not boot at all. I began to take the computer apart piece by piece and found that the hard drive/cd-rom/dvd all work but only if just the power cable is plugged into them. If the data and power cables are plugged into them the drives refuse to work. Am I wrong for thinking that my motherboard or cpu is bad?
- There may be some device comflicting in it See and check each device for their jumper settings HDD should be se to MA CD-drive is to be set to CS if the above steps fail then connect your HDD but without the CDROM drive and see if it works
- Q:I have an ipod nano 3g but the data cable is from a friends ipod touch and it doesn't seem to be working.Do different styles of ipod require different data cables?
- yes they all use same cables i have a touch and i share my wire with my family who have different ipods. they have 3g nano, 2g nano, and 1g nano.
- Q:I am currently building a custom build, at the moment I have an SSD for the main OS and a 2TB disk for my data.I wish to add a few more hard drives (about 3-4 more) I have the bays and the PC is more than capable. What I am asking is, what cable do I need in order to do this (i.e. what do I need to search on OKorder)? The kind of cable which turns on SATA port into multiple ones, and then a similar one for power.Regards,Sungmin Kim
- While you can get a port multiplier, there are limitations, as a port multiplier device will only work with a controller that supports the protocol and the throughput is limited as all drives contend (like the bad old days of master/slave in ATA). Adding an extra drive controller would be a better option, if you need more drives than there are SATA ports for. Power splitters are not a problem, as long as the PSU is up to the load
- Q:i was watching tv last night and at exactly 3:00 AM (spooky) there was a thing that popped up and said something about problems and technical difficulties and that the cable box will restart and blah blah blahhh. so it restarted itself and the cable box kept going through the channel numbers back and forth, then it said boot and i waited and waited. then i finally pressed cable to put it on and turned on the tv and i had to wait some more and then it only lets me go to channel 14 (the tv channel guide) and 78 (some paid program thing about jewelry) and it wont let me go to any other channels. i keep restarting it and unplugging it for 5 minutes but it still wont work. whats going on? how do i fix it? oh and btw this is a brand new cable box, we had to exchange it because our old one broke.
- A friend of mine repeatedly had problems after switching to Time Warner HD cable. Apparently their new HDMI boxes had problems (sound cut out on various channels) and when she got one of the older HD boxes with DVI (but she used component), she went through a couple of them that seemed to spontaneously reboot intermittently. Contact your cable provider (did you pay your bill?).
- Q:(I had to rephrase my earlier question)If the 1.1 cable doesn't catch on fire, etc: will all transferred data be intact (undamaged)?
- It will work on a 2.0 USB port but the speed will be 1.1 USB. What do you mean catch fire? Its not that fast that it will catch fire! lol Hope I Helped :)
- Q:I am looking for objective published data of audio cable physical/electrical properties before and after long usage that supports this claim. Hearing test data or claims does not count because it is subjective and many variables (player, receiver, amplifier, speakers) are included. Thanks, T Green.
- I don't know of anything, but what would you accept as evidence? It may be possible to show that the electrical properties change over time, but you'd still have to correlate that with a change in audio quality, which is always going to be subjective.
- Q:I want connect Sony Ericsson T290i to the computer via data cable, Is there any data cable for that model? Which cable?
- I can't answer because I don't know, but you can go to Best Buy and ask, those guys can tell you whatever you need to know.
- Q:i have a data cable for my phone but when i plug it in my computer it doesnt show up do i need to download software off the internet or what
- Phone lines and computer cable are different types of cable and connectors. The telephone jack is an RJ11 type connector and the computer is a RJ45. Also phone lines only use 1 pair of wires and computer cable uses 2 pair, even though the cables have 2 and 4 pairs - respectively. So I'm not sure you're going to get your computer to work since phone cables typically are made with what is called silver satin cable and lacks the internal wires to be used as computer cable.
- Q:I have the cable and everything I want, but I don't know how to copy them onto my Nokia E51?
- Okay lets see There are many ways and I will explain each one by one. The first is by connecting your phone to the PC via a USB Data cable and synchronizing it using the Nokia PC Suite. Since it's an E 51 it should work like a charm. The second method is if your phone has an expandable memory card then you can just use a card reader and simply copy and paste your files on the Memory card. And another unorthodox method is by sending your files using a bluetooth connection. That is considering that your PC has bluetooth. Well I hope that answers your question
