Introduction:

The first horizontal biomass boiler in China    Brand:  HUAYUAN

High-end product---Longxiao series A, B, C

Technical features:

By the great effort, HUAYUAN has developed the first biomass boiler without grate. There are three kinds of hot water boilers as following:

Longxiao Series A: blue touchscreen control system, burning any biomass fuel without dark smoke.

Longxiao Series B: colorful touchscreen control system. motor frequency control system. drain the coked fuel in the combustion procession. burning all coked biomass fuel.

Longxiao Series C: large colorful touchscreen control system. intelligent control system, internet control system. drain the coked fuel in the combustion. burning all coked biomass fuel.

Characteristics:

1. Different from tradition vertical boiler, any parts of boiler could be checked and repaired. Even the fire pipes in the boiler could be replaced without boiler disassembled.

2. HUAYUAN adopts world leading patent combustion system. Boilers without grate will need no more grate transporting to solve coked fuel burning problem.

3. High temperature in the hearth could be controlled to make sure that temperature is enough high to do biomass pyrolysis gasification and complete combustion. With specially designed

airflow spraying, tar will not be attached to the hearth after longtime combustion and pipes will not be blocked by the attached tar, it will do little effect on the boiler's efficiency after long                 time using, this is what users will neglect. Long-time energy saving is what matters.

4. As store is directly connected to the hearth, many biomass boilers catch fire easily. Applying anti-back fire structure and back-flow prevention device, so that only biomass fuel can be put  into hearth, high temperature airflow can't flow into bunker. We are equipped with safety fire protection device, even when the back-flow  prevention device fails, automatic monitoring feeding system will start to force high temperature into hearth. Boiler will stop working only after cleaning all the fuels.

5. Change the traditional boiler feeding way, decrease the feeding height of bunker, increase the capacity, reduce the labor strength.

6. Traditional biomass boiler only monitor output water temperature, Longxiao series adopts touchscreen control system, clients can monitor the parameters of temperature of input water, output water, smoke, fuels in bunker, combustion in hearth etc. After the change of relevant data, it will timely remind the user of maintenance, so that to allow user to get more information about running status and energy-saving data.

7. First one to apply internet control system in biomass fuel industry, you can monitor the boiler everywhere with internet.

8. Under intelligent control, boiler will automatically operates from start-running-stop-restart. You could be an online boiler operator with high efficiency and 6 safety protection settings.

Q: Problem created by hard water in boiler?
Yes there can be lots of problems from hard water in a boiler. The number one is water restriction. The water will not flo correctly, especially on a domestic hot water coil. This is where you get your hot water for your house. You might get no hot water. Hard water can also cause your boiler to fail more quickly.
Q: had to wait 2 wks for new bladder. We asked if the radiators should be flushed but the engineer said you don't flush or put inhibitor in these. The engineer fixed it but still it wasn't quite right. He came back and said we needed a new pressure relief valve. Five minutes after he left we had to call him back as the boiler cut out, this happed 3 times more! We asked if we could get a manual for the boiler but he said that manuals are not given anymore because corgi doesn't want owners to try and fix them.Still it wasn't right. He came back and said we needed a new radiator in the boiler, he came back an The hot water is only on for about 4 seconds then it goes cold. This has been going on since november. Now my husband has put cleaner in the rads and is going to try and fix it, mentioning something about a 3 way valve. It seems to me that yes we needed a new bladder but I think we just needed the system cleaned in the first place.Anyone got any helpful advice please?
By bladder do you mean hot water diaphragm. It is not true that Corgi do not want boiler manuals given out. It is part of the regulations that a boiler manual is left with the boiler on installation. You might be able to get hold of a copy from Halstead or whoever owns them now or download a copy off the internet. However what is true is that you shouldn't be repairing them yourself. I have a feeling that these boilers can go to lock-out because the venturi is dirty and also for lots of other reasons as well so don't waste your money havoing a go at different cures. To diagnose blocked heat exchanger you could put temperature sensors on flow and return. To diagnose venturi problem another method is used. You need an experienced combi boiler engineer really not Joe cowboy.
Q: I tried plumbing tape, then more plumbing tape, then more plumbing tape. Still drips. The nozzle was actually sideways last time. It is tight and I'm afraid to go any tighter.
There could be a couple of things that may be happening to your boiler drain: 1. There could be cross threading that is happening (so no matter how much Teflon tape that you may apply....it will still keep leaking). If this is occurring, change out the boiler drain and add a new one (preferably a NIBCO brand) Check to make sure that the threads are good on the boiler itself....if not re tap the inner threads to accept the new boiler drain snuggly. 2. The boiler drain could be damaged and need to be replaced. (Simple Fix) remember that brass is soft and it may get damaged if over tightened in anyway. If you are still having issues you could come out of the boiler with a brass nipple and then attach the boiler drain.
Q: along with the blue light, which is flashing intermittently ..ive tried re-setting it with no luck...anyone know what I should do? My plumbers a bit stuck too!
the reset button is to do with the limit stat on your boiler-by law these have to be manual overide not automatic, like conventional stats. it goes off because of overheating on the boiler it's because the boiler cannot disapate its heat quickly enough-my guess would be either the fan or the pump has gone, which would mean replacement-get an engineer in
Q: Just fitted a trianco boiler, boiler fires, but no heat in radiators or hot water.
Sound like a silly question but have you filled the system with water.?Have you vented it off completely? Do any of the pipes coming from the boiler get warm/hot?Is it fully pumped and is the pump running? EDITProbably a continuation of the first problem. Vent off any air at the hot water cylinder.
Q: I currently have a 10 year old boiler for an older home that is running fine and gets an annual cleaning every year. The home has had upgrades like a new roof, new windows, added insulation, and new fiberglass doors over the years and I am trying to decide if I should save and wait for next year to upgrade the boiler or if I should just drop the money on a new pellet stove for the ground floor. PS - I currently have a pellet stove in the basement and it works great.
I would try to figure what the cost is for operating the boiler each year, include the annual cleaning in the operating costs. Then figure the cost to buy and operate the pellet stove instead. Take the cost of purchasing the pellet stove and divide it by how long it is expected to last before it needs to be replaced. Add that number to the annual cost of pellets and cleaning or whatever maintenance the pellet stove requires each year. Then compare the annual cost of operating the boiler, which is paid off already for the purposes of this analysis, and the cost to operate the pellet stove, including the amortized cost to buy and install it. Since you said the boiler is running fine, I assume you expect the pellet stove to be cheaper to operate each year. how long have pellets been available? Are the sales of pellet stoves increasing, decreasing or staying about flat each year? If sales are decreasing, you may find pellets go up in price, since there are fewer people to share the overhead of making pellets at all. You get the idea, you need to figure out how fast you start to save money with the pellets and how risky the money saving proposition is at all. Then add a third option, which is a new boiler that is presumably more efficient? Do the amortization of the purchase price, including installation, the same way you did the pellet stove to get an annual cost figure to compare to the other two. If the 10 year old boiler is near the end of its useful life, then you can disregard the first option, just keeping it and running it til it drops.
Q: How does size of boiler relate to pressure?
only on as far that larger boilers will require stronger construction/ thicker materials compared with smaller boilers at the same pressure.
Q: I have a hydronic heating system and have recently bled my radiators (because there was a lot of clanging recently when the boiler turned on, so I was under the impression that that was because of a build-up of air in the pipes) So, I bled the radiators, and ever since then my boiler has not turned on. I also have lost all pressure (gauge reads zero). Wondering if the loss of pressure is a result of bleeding, and if so, how to I get back the pressure.
it sounds like you dont have enough waterin the system. add water to the boiler to get upto 20 ponds of pressure then if you need to bleed the radiators you need to maintain 15 to 20 pounds of pressure
Q: I have a Heat Line Compact boiler which is firing up about every 3 minutes when the heating is on. It comes on for less than 1 minute 10 seconds at which point the temp reading is showing 80 degrees, then it shuts off for around 1 minute 40 seconds (temp only drops to 50 degrees). It cycles like this for as long as the heating is on.Is this normal? It makes a racket every time it fires up (waking me up every 3 minutes!) Is there no way to set it to stay on for the duration? Thanks :o)
The boiler may be on a Frost setting which means that during very cold weather the boiler will come on for short periods just to prevent the central heating water from freezing up. It is mainly used when people leave the house empty during very cold weather.
Q: what is wrong with boilers when not heating ?what is the problems is with central heating ? is the insulations not found lose heating ?leakage ?
I take it that your central heating's not working. A boiler heats water that can be 1) pumped to a hot water tank for use in washing/bathing 2) pumped around radiators for central heating The reasons for no central heating (if the boiler is actually heating the water) include 1) pump not working 2) air in pipes - bleed the radiators, get a bleed key from your local DIY store 3) blocked/corroded pipes 4) leaks (but you'd probably see water somewhere)
