Technical features:

By the great effort, HUAYUAN has developed the first biomass boiler without grate. There are three kinds of hot water boilers as following:

Longxiao Series A: blue touchscreen control system, burning any biomass fuel without dark smoke.

Longxiao Series B: colorful touchscreen control system. motor frequency control system. drain the coked fuel in the combustion procession. burning all coked biomass fuel.

Longxiao Series C: large colorful touchscreen control system. intelligent control system, internet control system. drain the coked fuel in the combustion. burning all coked biomass fuel.

Characteristics:

1. Different from tradition vertical boiler, any parts of boiler could be checked and repaired. Even the fire pipes in the boiler could be replaced without boiler disassembled.

2. HUAYUAN adopts world leading patent combustion system. Boilers without grate will need no more grate transporting to solve coked fuel burning problem.

3. High temperature in the hearth could be controlled to make sure that temperature is enough high to do biomass pyrolysis gasification and complete combustion. With specially designed

airflow spraying, tar will not be attached to the hearth after longtime combustion and pipes will not be blocked by the attached tar, it will do little effect on the boiler's efficiency after long time using, this is what users will neglect. Long-time energy saving is what matters.

4. As store is directly connected to the hearth, many biomass boilers catch fire easily. Applying anti-back fire structure and back-flow prevention device, so that only biomass fuel can be put into hearth, high temperature airflow can't flow into bunker. We are equipped with safety fire protection device, even when the back-flow prevention device fails, automatic monitoring feeding system will start to force high temperature into hearth. Boiler will stop working only after cleaning all the fuels.

5. Change the traditional boiler feeding way, decrease the feeding height of bunker, increase the capacity, reduce the labor strength.

Q: my gas boiler is 12years old, how long should it last?: If you are talking gas boiler furnace it will last a long time. Mine is all most 40 years old and it is working great. KNOCK ON WOOD!!!!!!! Over the years I have had to put some money into it but not a whole lot. Just make sure you maintain it like you are suppose to and you will be fine with it.

Q: what is the difference between a boiler and water heater?? are they the same?: While Tim is right, we do have a hot water boiler/heater that does both jobs. In fact when my water heater goes out, it's on the way, I'll change over to a boiler/heater conversion. one until to serve both purposes.

Q: I asked this question once already, but I guess I didn't give enough info, so I am going to try this again. Bare with me because I honestly don't know anything about this, that is why I'm trying to get info on here. I am currently looking at buying a house that is heated with a boiler furnace. There are base board vents through out the house, and multiple thermostats to control the heating in the different zones of the house. I'm not sure if this also controls the hot water, or if there is a seperate hot water heater. My understanding is that there are lines that run along the base boards, hot water runs through them and some how heats the house?!?! Like I said, I really don't know, and I am just trying to get a better understanding of this system. ANY info on them would be much appriciated, such as cost to replace them, repair them, or service them. Common problems to watch out for, how they opperate, and if it would be better than a regular furnace.: Don't buy the house!!! My father owns a heating a cooling business and I helped replace a home such as the one you are considering to buy with a regular furnace. Major costs and house repairs!!!

Q: im installing a hot water zone off the steam boiler can you help on the piping and wiring on this with a circulator and arelay and a aqustate: The problem you are going to have is that although these two systems use close to the very same boiler. They operate in very differant ways. For generating steam to heat with the boiler is not filled completely. Actually only about half way. This creates and area for steam production and that steam travells through your pipes as a hot gas, ie. steam. As it cools it returns to the boiler as condensed water and reboils. These systems have low water shut off valves and operate on lower pressure. When these systems are set up for hot water heat the system is filled completely with water. It is air tight and has an expansion tank, pressure reducing valve, back flow preventer, a means of bleeding the air out of it and circulators to create a pressure differential to move the water through the pipes. The water is then heated to about 180 to 210 degrees fh and flows from the boiler to each radiator, fan coil or floor heating system. It returns to the boiler to be re-heated and continues until temperature levels in the living spaces are reached. Since these two system use many of the same features one would assume you could have them work together. But to my knowledge this is not true. Because although they both look like the same animal they are not. It may be easier for you to convert the entire system to hot water than to try and add one zone as hot water. Or vise versa heat your new zone with steam as well. Best advise is to check with a professional contractor that does this for a living. Many give free estimates and can point you in the right direction.

Q: pls can anyone tell me the efficiency of the boilers with super-heater and without superheaters..!: The boiler efficiency is roughly the same with and without superheat. The efficiency of a utility boiler will be over 90%. You obtain the efficiency savings in the turbine cycle where you convert the thermal energy of the steam into mechanical energy to turn a generator. In most modern coal fired boiler, there are two superheat circuits, one called superheat and one called reheat. The heat rate of one boiler I know of with the reheat circuit is over 13,000 BTU/KWHr, while the heat rate of a two superheat boiler is around 10,000 BTU/KWHr. (Divide the heat rate by 3412 to get the efficiency.) But it depends on design. Most nuclear units do not have any superheat, they operate on a saturated steam steam cycle. Their heat rates are not that far off from a coal unit, look at the figures in the link below:

Q: I have a Dunkirk boiler with a Honeywell L8148A aquastat that just allows me to set the high end temp. I keep it at 180. But it won't let me set a low limit for when I want the heat to kick in. (it seems like it's been short cycling. I had an electrician come and he tested everything, thermostats, zone heads, you name it, and evreything is in working order). If I buy a low limit controller, will it allow me to do this; to set a low range and not have the boiler starting up every few minutes?Thanks for your help.: 99.9% of the time, I drive below the speed limit because it's the right thing to do. The other 0.01% of the time, I'll go all the way up to the speed limit when getting on the freeway... but eventually will get back down to under the limit. People seem to think that the speed limit is a minimum. Of course, it's normal and acceptable that someone dies every twenty minutes in a car accident.
