- Q:how tower crane extend it heights?
- They okorder /
- Q:Jin Title required 20 large equipment testing reports. The personnel system is really rubbish, so we don't know what to do professionally.

- Q:How does the torque of a construction crane relate to the torque of a car?
- In an automobile, you are looking for torque over a wide range of speeds and loads. A crane does not need to have a great deal of speed in terms of lifting an object but does need a great deal of torque. The result is an automobile needs much more horsepower to meet its goals while a crane can actually lift a huge load with a much smaller amount of horsepower. I personally can remember a lift on one of the construction projects I was field engineer on. The lift of 650,000 pounds was made with two 85 horsepower Ford gasoline engines and two industrial gear boxes.
- Q:Tower crane technical condition GB/T 9462-1999 has been cancelled? If so, what is the new standard?
- This standard applies to tower cranes defined in GB/T 6974.3.This standard does not apply to mobile cranes equipped with tower cranes. This standard compares with the 5 standards such as GB/T 9462-1999, the main change is as follows:- redefining the type identification principle of tower cranes and eliminating the parameter series in JG/T 5037-1993;
- Q:please tell an article about electromagnetic crane?
- electromagnetic crane has a huge electric magnet instead of a hook. this magnet is operated by an electrical current. when electric is switched on the magnet becomes magnetized,allowing metal objects to be picked up just like an ordinary magnet.when Electric is turned off the metal object will fall away, as it is no longer magnetized.
- Q:I need to draw an injured crane (the bird) with an arrow in its wing, lying on the ground...preferably with a splayed wing.How do I draw this? Sketches would help.Thanks.
- Shoot a crane with an arrow and take a picture. Life drawing and technology mesh well.
- Q:Who was the guy called the Headless Horseman in the story of Ichabod Crane?
- He doesn't really have a name, just a Hessian mercenary whose head was blown off by cannon fire during the Revolutionary War. Or if I may quote that guy from wrestling, it doesn't matter what his name is. Of course, his oh-so-coincidental appearance in the presence of Ichabod Crane is largely thought to be the work of Abraham Van Brunt. Ichabod was getting a little too close to his would-be old lady, so he used Ichabod's superstitions against him to scare him out of town. And it worked. The next morning, Ichabod was nowhere to be found and all that was left was a saddle and a shattered pumpkin. When I was a kid, the Disney version of that story scared the living shat out of me. It wasn't so much the headless guy, it was that demon horse with the glowing eyes.
- Q:i was wondering
- it would be better if you tried it. :P Ive never heard the story but this is actually wishing magick. so I would vote true on it, but i think there are better wishing methods that won't require that much time and won't kill trees. Blessings, Shadow
- Q:They like fly on peoples face, i dont know why they come up on the face and it creeps me out, i have no idea why it comes inside of the house in the first place?
- They come inside the house looking for mosquitoes! Crane Flies are great mosquito hunters, in fact we call them skeeter eaters. I'm from the south, plenty of mosquitoes here and we love Crane Flies. They're totally harmless to people or anything else besides mosquitoes, and since mosquitoes are proven carriers of numerous deadly diseases such as malaria, yellow fever, and the dreaded Nile virus, I'd much rather have Crane Flies around me than mosquitoes. Do yourself a favor and learn a bit more about these fascinating and very helpful critters, I'm sure you'll be willing to cut them a little slack if you do. edit Leolupus is correct! It turns out after 40 years I was completely wrong ~ they do *not* eat mosquitoes. I have been informed by an expert (my father-in-law, who is an entomologist at Texas AM and laughed at me when I mentioned this question my answer) that adult Crane Flies eat flower nectar, decaying vegetation, seedling plants, mosquito larva (but not adult mosquitoes) or nothing at all depending on their species. They are, however, harmless to humans since they're totally unable to bite, though they're considered a pest by some farmers due to the habit of some species of dining on young crops. Oh well, sometimes you start out trying to teach someone a lesson and you end up learning one instead. Thanks for bringing up this subject, Bebe :-)
- Q:In the poem "The Wayfarer”, what is Crane's ironic comment on the pursuit of truth?
- On a semi-close inspection, it would seem to me that Crane is saying that, ironically, the truth hurts. He's making a statement similar to Shakespeare in Hamlet. Hamlet is NOT muddled by indecision, as so many poor readers have often thought, but he sees much too much of the truth of the way of the world, and sees how futile and terrifying it is, and is embarrassed, or even humorously angered, that he should be asked to fix the world in the face of such impossible distress and futility. Similarly, the path to truth in Crane's The Wayfarer is overgrown with painful daggers which, if you step onto the path, will cut up your feet; if you take the path and find truth, you'll be hurt and dumbstruck and terrified by this path, so that the Truth (with a capital 'T') itself convinces the poem's 'hero' to turn to a different path, to choose something other than truth. And he doesn't even need to walk the path at all, only get a bit of a glimpse into truth, in order to be terrified by it.
