Needle roller bearing :
Needle Roller Bearings (needle bearing) is a cylindrical roller with roller
bearings, relative to its diameter, roller both thin and long. This is called needle
roller. Despite having a smaller cross-section, has a higher load bearing capacity,
equipped with a thin and long needle bearing roller (roller diameter D≤5mm,
L / D≥2.5, L is the length of the roller), so radial structure is compact, its
diameter size and load capacity and other types of bearings, minimum diameter,
especially for radial dimensions limited support structure.
Product Applications:
Needle roller bearings are mainly used in car engines, transmissions, compressors, cranes, etc.

- Q: I'm buying a new skateboard with complete trucks, wheels and abec 3 bearings.I just wanted to know if it is any difference to Abec 5, 7, 9 ??
- Lucky Abec 3 Bearings Review
- Q: I have replaced the wheel bearings twice in 3 months now its going bad again....i didnt change the hub.Should i have done so.it looked a little grinded up on the inside.
- I wish you would have included the make, model, and year of the vehicle you are working on So we could know how your specific assembly is made. Flying off the handle saying you should replace the hub is not always the correct answer. Some are equipped with bearing races in the hubs which can be replaced separately. Generally on these models the hub proves very expensive, but the bearing race is cheap by comparison. If you are over-tightening or under-tightening the bearings, then that would be the cause for your repeated failure. Are you cleaning all the old grease out, and putting new grease in? To most this may seem like a dumb question to ask, but I have worked on one where they didn't grease the bearings at all. You have to get them packed really well with grease, don't worry about getting dirty, you will clean up later. The thing about cleaning all the old grease out is important too. When a bearing goes bad, it can leave metal shavings in the grease, and if metal shavings get into your new wheel bearings it will tear them up. Hubs, and bearing races should be inspected when replacing wheel bearings. They do not always need to be replaced.
- Q: I'am reading a book written in the 20's and he mentions reciprocal bearings but google hardly recognizes the term. But after some hard-earned googling I think we refer to them today as internal shaft bearings. The way he describes them is: reciprocal bearings are used for reciprocating pumps, and similarly used in on the connection rods of large internal-combustion engines, and in many mechanisms operated by cams. Thanks.
- Bearings come in many types, and are designed for specific applications. Auto engines primarily create radial loading, but the loading is far from uniform through a single revolution. An application with uniform loading would normally use a ball bearing, but the extremes of force make a journal bearing with forced lubrication more suitable for high intermittent' loading. The image below shows typical journal bearings (bushings). The term reciprocal as an elision of reciprocating is entirely out of use (but might appear in manuals published in the 20's). Shaft bearing come in many categories, but in the case of non-linear reciprocating loads, they're now known as journal bearings.
- Q: I have a 2003 cavalier and the front wheels are making a clunking noise at low speeds and a loud grinding noise at high speeds. I had the tires rotate to see if it was something with the tires them selves, but the noise is still in the front. Are the bearings actually part of the wheels, and if it was the bearings I should hear the noise in the back now? Or are they part of the axle?
- 2003 Caviler has front wheel drive axles could be your axles are bad and need replacement or you need an entire front brake job done your describing a grinding noise which leaves me to believe you have bad front brakes and rotors.Have the entire front end checked before committing to repairs.
- Q: bearings of cars

- Q: My car has recently started making extremely loud noises.. squeeking, squiling, grinding, and its all coming from the back of my car. This noise now continues while I drive, but at first it was just while I would press the brakes. Im trying to determine if this is my brakes going bad, or if it is my wheel bearing going bad. Anything would help thank you!
- If you jack the car up you can listen closely to the wheel bearings, and also try to rock the wheel by grabbing it at the 12 o'clock and 6 o'clock position, there should be barely any play. If you can wiggle more than a 1/2-1 mm then its likely the rear bearings have failed. If the bearings appear OK then remove the tire and try to remover the drum If the vehicle has disc brakes the pads will be exposed, if the discs are scored. grooved and damaged you will notice this immediately The disc should be almost polished smooth, with the disc brake pads held against the discs by the calipers, there should be at least 1/4 inch (6mm) of pad material. If you have drum brakes once you have removed the drum (remove cotter pin from cage and remove nut) inspect the shoes and brake hardware found inside, attached to the backing plate.
- Q: i was putting a new tire on my gt dyno when it got really hard to pedal i ve smashed them before but it was my Friends bike! and was wondering if i should get the newest bearings?
- If you get them made of titanium, and enclosed in selfcontained oilite casings similar to the ones on the shuttle thruster plates they will cost about 2.5 million each.
- Q: I think I have bad front wheel bearings...I'm about to go outside and lift my car up and check... Where's a good place online to get good parts at a good price?
- What ever you do please don't try to change them yourself. Special tools are needed (press sleeves) and a press to do the job! A Toyota dealer will have an ultrasonic listening device which will tell you which bearings are bad. You, more than likely will not feel anything loose when the wheels are off the ground. Locally, NAPA will have SKF American made bearings. Carquest has Timken wheel bearings.
- Q: how long do skatebaord bearings last?
- Depends on what kinda they are. I've seen cheap $10 Abec 3s and 5s works just as fine as some Bones bearings. As long as you take care of them, they will stay in good condition. But since a decent set of bearings don't cost all that much, just use them until you feel like changing them. I've skated for 5 years and I had a set of bearings that lasted me through out the year. Bones REDS? I'm pretty sure you're familiar with the name. But they are really durable. They ain't fast, but they are durable.
- Q: Title says it all
- no it doesn't say it all. If you have what the industry calls precision specification bearings, they are garbage. I suspect that you have something else that has a brand name that may not be ABEC rated but they call precision. How hard would it have been to give the brand name and model of the bearings? There is really very little difference in bearings once you get to ABEC 1 and there is nothing in the spec that ABEC 7 rolls any better (the specs could cause them to be slower) or last longer. Most ABEC bearings are made by large industrial bearing makers and sold to various companies. Some of the larger companies that sell skate bearings (Bones, Zero Drag, Twin Cam) have created designs that are better for skating or boarding than the ABEC standards.
