- well i say anything above abec five is pointless (unless its bones bearing, well because they are the best) but i would go with abec 7s. theylle will get worn out faster so i would just buy bones red because they last and are cheap.

- My 4-cylinder has a total of four thrust bearing parts. They set next to one of the main bearings. There are two upper and two lower pieces so it takes a total of four. Yes they can be a problem as the two lower ones have a tendency to slip out of place and fall into the oil pan as they near the end of their useful life. But most 4-cylinders have a single thrust bearing built into one of the main bearings so they are not separate parts.

- Needle bearing roller bearings are cylindrical roller, relative to its diameter, the roller is thin and long, hence the name. Although the needle roller bearings with a smaller section, the load bearing capacity of the bearing is still high, with thin and long needle bearing roller (roller diameter of D = 5mm, L/D = 2.5, L roller length), so the radial structure is compact, its diameter and load capacity and other types of bearings at the same time, minimum diameter, especially for the supporting structure of radial installation size limited.

- ABEC is basically meaningless for skates or boards. It is a vibration (higher numbers may roll slower) for high speed machines that are running at speeds that would be around 200 mph on a board. The quality of the maker is more important and some abec 3 bearings may run faster than other abec 5 bearings. The durability of the bearings is also more up to the maker and is not covered by anything in the ABEC standards. Bones is known for making very fast running bearings (they, along with Twin Cam and Zero Drag, make bearings that violate the ABEC standards so they can roll better) but have a reputation that sneezing near them will cause them to rust.

- The bearings that come with it will be good enough. I wouldn't recommend getting Bones Reds unless your board is so slow once you get it. Well, I wouldn't recommend Bones Reds period. HKD abec5 bearings are the same price, and they last much longer without maintenence in my experiences.
- Q: Okay so I wanna clean out my bearings, but I dont have any rubbing alcohol, but I do have hydrogen peroxide...I was wondering if it works and how to use it. Plz tell me asap!!! also, does sewing machine lube work to lubricate the bearings?
- first of all NEVER use things like hyd. peroxide or sewing machine lube or WD-40. it clots up, collects more dirt and actually can cause more friction between the ball bearings and the shell. and absoloutly never use water, unless you want rusted shackles. only use actual skateboard lubricants, top kind out there right now is Speadcream by Bones.

- no it doesn't say it all. If you have what the industry calls precision specification bearings, they are garbage. I suspect that you have something else that has a brand name that may not be ABEC rated but they call precision. How hard would it have been to give the brand name and model of the bearings? There is really very little difference in bearings once you get to ABEC 1 and there is nothing in the spec that ABEC 7 rolls any better (the specs could cause them to be slower) or last longer. Most ABEC bearings are made by large industrial bearing makers and sold to various companies. Some of the larger companies that sell skate bearings (Bones, Zero Drag, Twin Cam) have created designs that are better for skating or boarding than the ABEC standards.
- Q: hi my kawasaki kx85 needs new bearings so.... i removed the rear tire and got to the bearings and i have pulled, pushed, hit, slammed, and so on and cant get tnem out.. any ideas??? thanks!

- Q: i was just wondering which skateboard bearings where better. i have been skating ghetto bearings for about 4 years now and i think its about time for me to step it up. this is a question for the pros, which bearings are better Swiss Bones Labyrinth's, Swiss Bones Super Swiss 6, or the original Bones Swiss bearings? And is the difference between them big?
- YES!!! they are way better then reds. but me personally i dont like spending that much for bearings so i stick with reds cuz they last long and are just as good
- Q: Car has been in the shop since last week. They've ordered the bearing according to catalog, and its wrong - so they say the spindle has been changed apparently..however my brother in law says the bearings come with numbers imprinted on them which should make it easy to replace. The garage lady says Hyundai bearings don't come with numbers...anyway, they are down to the last bearing Hyundai makes and we are waiting for that part to come and hoping it is correct....I am wondering if this is just totally nuts or does this sound correct? Shouldn't they have just taken the bearing itself to an auto parts place and matched it up? Why is this so hard? Car was originally put in the shop for a new alternator, by the way.
- Get the bearing and look for yourself. Go to auto parts store and ask them for a front wheel bearing for your vehicle. Look it up online at Auto Zone. com.There are a number of ways to find out. Get out of there and find a shop that knows what they are doing. Why are they working on the wheels to repair an alternator. Sounds like you are getting ripped.
