- I don't think we have a mobile based compiler in the market as yet. Mobile devices are short on RAM and processor power, not to mention they constantly have to perform the job of a phone. So, the devices are not used to do programing, as programing itself is a tedious job for a processor (running IDE, debuggers, compilers, linkers etc.). So, for the time being, I think you would have to be content on using mobile phones as phones and not for programing. Though you can Microsoft Visual Studio for mobile device programing. Have fun

- Q: I have the LG virgin mobile phone (not the new one) and I turned it off to charge and then turned it back on but it only went to the Hello part and started loading up and then it just goes black and back to the Hello and just keeps repeating it! any ideas why??? - There are a couple of possibilities. First, it could have a bad battery; older batteries simply won't charge, no matter how long you put them on a charger. If that's not the problem, then you may have software problems with it (which is what it sounds like to me). You may need to reload the phone's operating system. To get the phone to stop, pull the battery out, and let it stay out for a minute or so. If your new phone has a compatible battery, pop that in to your old phone and see if it will work. Lastly, it's possible that there's something wrong with the phone itself. If that's the case, you'd simply need to have it repaired. Before you do anything drastic, pull the battery; if that doesn't work, get a new battery, charge it, and then try it. That's the cause of a lot of problems with cell phones, in my experience. If that doesn't fix the problem, then contact Virgin Mobile again (be sure to call from a different phone), and they may be able to tell you what your other options are. Good luck.

If he comes to Europe temporarily, and still has a contract with Japanese carrier, he must have a cell phone with global roaming service. If there is a global roaming service, he can. cuz it wouldn't fit with the kanji and such. It's not a matter of kanji. Japanese cell phones are designed to exchange emails, no matter if it's alphabets or kanji. Can the japanese guy that choose to sms him? It depends on which phone he's using. There is no single answer. The bottom line is, he can do it with some phones. is that person than able to see that email on his mobile phone AND on the computer? Usually, no. Email address of cell phone is usually different from that of computer. But you can forward it to your computer, as you know.

- No, that will not work, and for several reasons: 1.) Straight Talk will not accept a Boost Mobile phone, period. 2.) Boost Mobile phones are not compatible with Straight Talk's GSM SIM cards. 3.) Boost Mobile phones with SIM card slots are either iDEN (which will not work with a GSM SIM card), or are locked from being used outside of Boost Mobile.

- Generally no. Especially the newer ones. Cricket generally will flash Verizon, Sprint, Alltel, Metro PCS, US Cellular and other companies phones over but Virgin Mobile isn't one of them. Virgin Mobile phones along with Tracfone/Net10 have the highest level of anti flashing techniques built into their phones (so people can't buy their cheap phones and then not use them on VM's network). I would just get a cheap Verizon phone as they are the easiest to flash to Cricket. But make sure you are NOT in a Cricket Trimode market. The new Trimode areas can't flash other phones over because they are not compatible with the new Trimode channel. Nobody uses Trimode but Cricket and Metro PCS at this time.
