- Q: So I was eating GoGurt yogurt. And I think I accidentally swallowed a part or the jagged part on the top of the tube. I don't think it was very big. I'm guessing the size was the size of half of a dime or a 1/4 of a dime. I know this doesn't sound too bad, since I've heard people who swallowed pennies, then they were fine, but I don't know how to get rid of it. I can still breathe and drink normally, but when I talk for too long, my throat starts to hurt a little. So far, I've tried drinking lots of water, swallowing some food to push it down (rice. :D), coughing, vomiting, and clearing my throat but I think it's still there. I'm actually not sure if it's still there or if it is gone, or just made a cut so it hurts. But I don't want to go to the doctors or ER, I'm poor. Are there any other ways to get the plastic out? Oh and if I leave it there, how long will it take for it to go down my throat and digest?
- Have someone press against your stomach hard. Either that or lie down, have someone look into your throat and reach in there. Watch out with these procedures. They're for CPR.
- Q: I still have the fork tubes mounted to the bike. I have removed the cap, spacer tube, washer, spring, damper bolt (from the bottom of the tube) and removed the damper and short spring. I have pried the dust cap (rubber seal) and slid it all the way up. There is a piece of plastic? or nylon? that is blocking the circlip(I assume). I do not have a manual for this bike but I can not get one for a few days, so the help would be great!!
- Just pry the plastic ring up (nothing is holding it). Perhaps it's stuck to the foam ring underneath it. After you remove the circlip, the the fork tube and lower will have to be pulled apart. The fork seal is in very tight. Hold the tube in one hand and the lower in the other hand. Push the forks together. Yank them apart with force (a bushing inside of the forks will hit against the seal like a slide hammer). They won't come apart in one pull. Push them - in - OUT -in - OUT - in - OUT
- Q: Can plastic tubes be used for pneumatic systems?
- Yes, plastic tubes can be used for pneumatic systems. Plastic tubes, such as those made from polyurethane or nylon, are commonly used in pneumatic systems due to their lightweight nature, flexibility, and resistance to corrosion. They can effectively transport compressed air or gases, making them suitable for various pneumatic applications.
- Q: What are the different wall thickness options for plastic tubes?
- The different wall thickness options for plastic tubes vary depending on the specific application and requirements. Generally, plastic tubes can have wall thicknesses ranging from thin (around 0.5 mm or less) to medium (around 1-2 mm) and thick (over 2 mm). The choice of wall thickness depends on factors such as the desired strength, flexibility, and cost-effectiveness for the intended use of the plastic tube.
- Q: Are plastic tubes FDA-approved for food contact?
- Yes, plastic tubes can be FDA-approved for food contact, but it depends on the specific type of plastic used and its compliance with FDA regulations for food safety.
- Q: What is a socket connection?
- The socket connection is that the pipe or pipe end is inserted into the socket of the connecting piece, and the well is sealed with the slope filling material in the annular gap.
- Q: How much should it cost to replace the Mass Airflow tube on a 2000 Mazda Protege? The tube is ripped, so it's messing with the MAF sensor. The mechanic quoted me $50 for the part (not including labor), and I just want to make sure they're not over-charging me. I mean, it is just a plastic tube...

- Q: He was talking about dope before he offered me a smoke, but when he offered me a smoke from his clear plastic tube, I asked what it was, and if I remember right he said Marijuana. He had to use his glasses to push whatever was in it to the end.I had never been high before, my heart was racing, and I was VERY talkative and loud.
- Did it look like it could have been plant material? If so than it was probably weed. Edit: Marijuana is often smoked in a glass pipe or piece. It definitely could have been weed. And it doesn't always make you mellow, sometimes, especially your first few times it makes you giddy and really talkative like you said.
- Q: Can plastic tubes be used for pneumatic applications?
- Yes, plastic tubes can be used for pneumatic applications. They are lightweight, corrosion-resistant, and flexible, making them suitable for various pneumatic systems and industries. However, it is important to select the appropriate plastic material with the necessary strength and pressure rating for the specific pneumatic application.
- Q: OK I am trying to make one of those soda drinking hats (because I have all of this spare clear plastic tubing from Menards from another project, and I couldn't think of anything else to do with it). When drinking out of it, it gives that plastic-like taste which I hope will go away over time. Anyway is this bad for me because I don't know if there is a different cleaner tubing that the real hats use and if it is safe to drink from their tubes. Should I just buy one of the hats off OKorder or just make my own... I don't want to poison myself or anything.
- what kind of tubing was it? was it sitting in the garage for months? the plastic taste isnt bad, but if it was sitting in your garage for months, you might wanna run soappy water throught it a few times then run clean water throught it for a few mins....just to be safe
