- I agree with voice of reason .. both of my girls went straight from the crib to a single ... I think the toddler beds are a waste as well ... Also, with buying a character bed frame, they change their minds on who they like every 6 months on who their hero is or what they are into. Unless you have the money to toss out there, i would honestly go for a single with a bed rail guard.

- You can add a hammock in your room as a feature, but you dont want that to be where you sleep every night. Get a big piece of plywood and some chains and hang your mattress from the ceiling with eye hooks (into a ceiling beam). It looks super cool and you can rock yourself to sleep.
