- I don't believe in making beds. I think it's a waste of time. There are two rules with beds: 1. No food or drink other than water may be consumed in your bed 2. Bedding has to stay off the floor These rules are obeyed at all ages. My kids sometimes make forts and stuff on their bed during the day, and I don't mind. I don't make my bed either. I imagine the age would vary based on your expectations though. If you just want them to throw the covers over loosely, then probably around 3-4 they could do that. If you expect hotel -quality, maybe closer to 7-8.
- Q: so he is 18 months old and recently got a toddler bed... the first night went well put him in bed shut his door and he got out was at door for a few minutes then got back in bed... but now he is getting out of his bed with his blanket and sleeping right in front of his door... which is a problem because when we go to bed we always open his door open and check on him...now its really hard to get the door even open.. then carefully move him to his bed I def dont want him sleeping on the floor...suggestions please? We used their old crib as a toy box due to their old toy box broke, found them just a few days ago sleeping in it. took all the toys out. - seek the internet, its constantly a super place to locate those issues. i could recomend getting her a cover because of the fact cover covers are user-friendly to locate and you will placed on a sparkling conceal in 5 minutes. if worst includes worst, get purple sheets, brown pillow circumstances, and a blue comforter! sturdy success!
- Q: My son hates his crib! He is 20 months old and has always slept in his crib NEVER slept in me and my husbands bed ONCE. But latly at my mothers , its a low crib , he climbs out and sleeps in the guest bed right next to it...and my mom will find him there in the morning. Well now he hates his crib here! - Probably the level 5 bed at only 2 minutes. but the first time you ever go into a tanning bed it raises your chance of getting skin cancer up to 75% even if you only tan ONCE! im only 18 and i had to get a thing on my nose removed that they thought was cancerous because of tanning beds and i have premature age lines around my eyes. and i only used the tannig bed for 3 months. I'm not trying to preach but you really don't want to do that to yourself.

- Maybe you could place him on his dog bed and say bed, then give him a reward. Repeat this maybe 7-10 times before saying bed and seeing if he goes on it on his own. If he doesn't, don't get mad or yell at him, just go back to step one. He'll get the hang of it eventually and be able to do it without being placed on the bed. Just remember to use positive reinforcement, rewards, petting him, saying good boy!, etc. I would suggest getting some kibble (doesn't have to be anything too fancy) to reward him.
