- Q: Can the pure latex mattress be used directly on the bent frame?
- When I installed bedframe, will put the corner with fixed bed side ribs bedstead; no supporting bracket, the side bar around the skeleton tube hole is fixed to the bed frame, so it does not appear abnormal sound.
- Q: Does the air force do bed checks? i was wondering because i want to live off base w/ my fiance but im only E-3 and i dont think they will let me live off base, does anyone know how i could make this work?
- Once your at your first base you can live whereever you can live offbase with your fiance if you wanted. However they will not give you BAH to live off base with her. They will require you to have a contact number for emergency purposes and I would suggest you inform your supervisor if your going to do this so they know and can act accordingly. Also you will have to clean/maintain the room you are given to stay in on base since they will have to give you a room. Also if the dorms are full enough you can go to your dorm manager and ask what your standing is on the move offbase list. If your high enough on that list you can then get BAH and officially move offbase to live with your Fiance. You can afford to get married at any rank. Most of my friends are married and are e-1 through e-5. They do just fine considering they make 300 dollars for food and recieve full reimbursement through BAH for their home all they pay for is their extra stuff such as vacations furniture etc. Granted you can't afford gold toilets and such you can live very comfortably at any rank while married.

- There are guards, like netting, that you can put at the side of a bed. Also, lotsa people pile pillows on the floor for the child to land on. ;) ~Cindy! :)

- Q: I've just put my ds (18mo) into a toddler bed. The first several nights were great. He slept really well and seemed to be quite happy with it.Then last night, he fell out, TWICE.His bed is a proper toddler bed, with just the crib mattress in there (we still have the crib up, with a spare mattress)so it isn't a long fall, and one of the times that he fell, he just slept on the floor. The bed has a board at the head, at the foot, adn a small rail along each side - a little at the top, and a little at the bottom.I went to buy the pre-fab rails, only to realise that you must have a box spring and mattress to use them. ugh. The head and foot boards are actually wider than the bed, so even if one side is up against the wall, there is a 4-5 gap.He was not very pleased about going down for his nap in the bed this afternoon - what can I do? Should I make a little rail out of board of some sort and keep him in? Or will he learn eventually how big the bed is, and just stop falling out? (not likely huh?)Thanks.
- I use the standard twin sized rail on my toddlers bed. It's made to fit between a box spring and mattress and the toddler bed only has a mattress so at first I thought I wasted my money. What I did was to secure it to the bed itself using nylon cable ties, found at a hardware store. They're the pull-tab kinda thingies that once you have tight, you can't loosen. Hard to explain with words, sorry. But they keep the rail on nice and tight. I only did one side because I didn't want him falling between the wall where the wall is at a weird angle. The other side is free so that he can get in and out easy. He falls out occasionally, and is such a sound sleeper, he hardly notices.

- I was put on bed rest when I was pregnant with both of my children. During the last month, because of high blood pressure. I was only allowed to get out of bed to take a shower and use the bathroom. I had to have someone there with me 24/7 cook meals and help care for me.
