I looked it up on the internet, to compare it to a real photo and I'm certain it was a bed bug. I was completely creeped out and couldn't sleep in my bed after that, I slept on the couch. I've never had a problem like this before, and I don't know where they came from. I looked under the mattress and boxspring and around the room but I didn't see any bugs or feces. My plan is to vacuum the bed and the entire room, put some bug spray on the mattress and wash everything. Is it possible that there would be bugs inside the mattress? Are there definetly more bugs even if I cant see anything?
- if its possiable take your mattress outside and spray it out side and leave it outside for a good while...it helps illiminate the smell of spray and dry quicker...then when u bring it in vacume and put on the clean sheets.

- You have to make a secure box for the bed, cable it to the joists in the ceiling. One way to make sure you get the joists and to spread the weight out would be to use a frame on the ceiling lag bolted to all the joists it covers and cable the bed to the frame. Unless you use cross bracing, the bed will swing if you use cables. Thick metal rods could minimize the swinging. Use bed slats in the box to hold your mattress as you won't have a mattress base, Ikea sells some reasonable bed slats. There's one furniture designer that uses large permanent magnets and a restraining thin cable to levitate a bed. Have you thought about a bunk bed frame? They have some that just lift the bed and leaves you with space underneath. You could also make a Murphy bed.

- Good Grief! After muddling through that paragraph-long run-on sentence, I think I can give you an answer. Get the d____ bed. Even if someone else has the same exact bed, it will be okay because you will have different bedding and furniture. So the beds will look different. Further, what you and/or your friend like today may be something you can't stand next year. Your tastes will change. So if you want the bed, get it. A bed is not worth the drama, believe me. In the great scheme of things, it's not that big of a deal.
