1.Product Quick Details
The electrode is the metal coating in the welding core (coating), uniform radial pressure applied to core. Electrode of the metal core, cores, in order to ensure the quality and performance of weld seam, on the content of metal elements in the cores have strict rules, especially the content of harmful impurities (such as sulfur, phosphorus, etc.), there should be strict restrictions, better than the parent metal. The electrode consists of two cores and coating composition. The core component directly affects the composition and properties of weld metal, so the harmful elements in the welding core to as little as possible.

- Q: My renter took apart a timer that was hooked to a ceiling fan because the timer was clicking loudly. Now, I just want to simply install a normal on/off switch in it's place. There are two sets of wires coming into the box. One set has a red, white, and black wire coming from it. The other set has just a white and black wire coming into the box. I'm sure this is relatively simple for someone who has wiring expertise. How do I wire a normal light switch to these wires?!?!
- The set of black and white wires are coming from your breaker box (supply). The Black, white and red wires are leading to your ceiling fan (demand). This next part depends on how your fan is wired up. You will want to check first. USUALLY, the red wire controls the fan only, while the black wire supplies power to the light kit, but it could be reversed. This is the part that you want to check. The red wire may also be capped off in the ceiling box and only exists if the user wants separate fan/light control in the future. Assuming that the red wire is capped off: 1.) Turn off the breaker supplying the circuit you are working on. 2.) Use a wire nut to twist the white wires together. 3.) Use a second wire nut to cap off the red wire. 4.) Wrap the black [supply] wire clockwise around the bottom screw on your new switch and tighten.. 5.) Wrap the black [demand] wire clockwise around the top screw on your new switch and tighten. 6.) Attach the new switch to the wall box while carefully tucking the wires in behind the switch. 7.) Install cover plate. 8.) Restore power to the circuit. It IS possible that the person who installed the ceiling fan used the red wire as the hot instead of the black. If this is the case, you can either rewire the ceiling fan's box accordingly (disconnecting the red wire and using the black instead) or substituting red instead of black in the instructions above. The red wire would then connect to the top screw terminal of your switch. If the red is connected to the light kit (if applicable) and the black is connected to the motor (or vise versa), disconnect the light kit and wire it along with the motor.
- Q: Quick question with hopefully an easy answer. I had a dimmer switch go bad on a light in a dining room. I bought a new switch and put it in. It was working fine, so I thought, then I noticed that when the dining room light is off, the dimmer works on everything else on the circuit, for example outside lights, hall lights, etc. I can dim all of those things when this switch certainly didn't do that before. Also, if the dining room light is on, all of the other things on the circuit I mentioned before do not work at all. I've obviously incorrectly wired the switch somehow, any thoughts on what I did incorrectly and how to fix?
- The problem is going to be the THREE black wire connections. You have to identify the INPUT POWER wire to the box, the DINING ROOM wire and the 'EVERYTHING ELSE wire. Separate the three black wires. Measure between each black wire and the white wire bundle. The black wire that has 120 vac on it is your INPUT POWER wire. Momentarily connect the black INPUT POWER wire to each of the other two black wires. One of those other two black wires will light up the dining room light. It is that black wire that gets connected to the LOAD connection on the dimmer switch. The other black wire is your EVERYTHING ELSE wire. Connect that wire to the INPUT POWER wire. Run a pigtail from those two wires to the LINE connection of the dimmer switch.
- Q: have 0 gauge power wire, but don't have a ground wire! can I use the power wire as a ground wire if I cut a piece off?
- 0 gauge? you probably have 14 awg, and yes, you can cut off a piece and use it as the ground strap, but you would be better off to use an actual ground wire, because later on if someone goes to work on that outlet they could miswire the new one. EDIT whoops, just saw the category, i saw this question on the main page, i was thinking home AC...not car audio, my bad.
- Q: i got a fi bl 15dual 2 subwoofer. im wiring it down to 1 ohm.now for the problem. lets say im wiring the positive terminals together. am i suppose to wire it all with positive wire or can i also use negative copper wire? i used two positive wires and one negative wire to hook up the three positive terminals. is this bad? do i need to make all of them positive silver wires?
- ok well either red or + is positive and black or - is negitive, the problem i have is you said you had 3 positives and one negitive on a dual coil sub,?? if you mean you ran all 3 wires to your amp then its wrong, if you mean you ran 1 wire to your positive,1 wire to your negative, and 1 wire from the other positive and negative together, then you have gone up to 4ohm and not down to 1, you should have 2 positives and 2 negatives, hooked together to make 1 positive and 1 negative as for the wire colors, they sometimes differ so you can tell them apart, providing your the one who screwed them to the amp, i run mine copper positive and silver negative, but each to there own.
- Q: Given following setup of three wires in the plane of the page with I1 = 1.3 A (to the right), I2 = 3.4 A (to the right), I3 = 4.5 A(to the left) and each wire is separated by 3 m.I'm completely lost, I need to..1. What is the direction of the magnetic field at wire 3 due to wires 1 and 2?2. What is the direction of the force on wire 3 due to wires 1 and 2?Any help would really be appreciated! Thanks!
- I assume that those wires are sitting parallel 3 m apart from one another. 1. The magnetic field around a wire forms concentric circles around the wire. Wire 1 and Wire 3 are parallel so when you draw a concentric field line around Wire 1 with radius 6 m, you get a magnetic field line passing Wire 3 at a right angle. And a concentric field line around Wire 2 with radius 3 m passes Wire 3 at a right angle. Both magnetic fields have the same direction because the current in both wires flows in the same direction (to the right). Using the right-hand rule, you can find that the magnetic field at wire 3 due to Wire 1 and Wire 2 goes into the page. Ans: Into the page 2. The force on a wire can be calculated in the following manner: I X B * L. Here I is the current on Wire 3, B is the magnetic field due to Wire 1 and Wire 2, L is the length of Wire 3, and X is the cross product operator. So I cross B would give the direction of the force. Now use the right-hand rule, I cross B will give the force direction pointing down. This means the force due to the magnetic field would repel Wire 3 from Wire 1 and Wire 2. Ans: The force on Wire 3 due to Wire 1 and Wire 2 would repel Wire 3 from them.
- Q: What's the difference between stainless steel wire and steel wire?
- Metal wire drawing stress state for two to stress was tensile stress to three principal stress state, and it is three to compress the main stress state of stress was compared, the metal wire drawing easier to reach the state of plastic deformation. The deformation state of the drawing is two, the compression deformation is always the three main deformation state of the tensile deformation, which is disadvantageous to the plasticity of the metal material, and it is easy to produce and expose the surface defects. The deformation of wire drawing process is limited by its safety factor, and the number of drawing passes is smaller when the secondary deformation is smaller. Therefore, multi pass continuous high-speed drawing is often used in the production of wire.
- Q: i need 175ft of 110 wire how much does it cost?
- Most all of the wire used in an average home will carry 110 volts. If you're looking to install some new recepts or switches, then most likely #12 wire would work just fine. At 175', you're going to use most of a 250' roll, which is the way most residential wire is sold. A 250' roll will run about $35 - $40 depending on where you live and whether you buy it at a wholesale electrical supply house or a retail store. Buying the wire by the foot will most likely cost about the same as the price/ft. for cut wire goes up.
- Q: I have a copper colored wire, a black wire, a red wire and white wire in the little box in the wall?? please help.
- Try different combinations until it works. Try the white on the common (black) screw and the red and black on the other 2 screws. If that doesn't work, rotate the three wires from screw to screw until it does.
- Q: Hey I have a standard Epiphone Les Paul, and I just bought some brand new Burstbucker pickups online. The one's I bought haven't arrived yet but in the picture, it looks like there is only 1 wire coming out of each pickup. When I take my wire cover off, i can see 1 wire comes out, but it's really 2 wires insulated to look like 1. What can I do so that I can put these expensive pickups in my guitar??
- Are you experienced in this sorta section? i might quite advise that in case you comprehend somebody who can try this sorta stuff no difficulty, ask them to take you thru it step with the aid of step.. although the mixture sounds good although, I fairly like the sound of that..good success and satisfied playing :)
- Q: u said when i buy a jvc wiring harness one end plugs in the back of cd player and the wires coming out of that connect to the wires in car will they be the same color though? right now there is a harness already on the cd player and the wires are on it and they are pretty long i thought i just wire those wires from it to the ones in car but they diff. colors
- Do you have a wiring diagram for your car? In there, they have the color codes for the speakers, dash illumination ( so when you change the lighting on your dash, your radio will change too), power attena, constant power for the clock and presets. If you don't have the diagram, check online for it. If you bought your deck from crutchfield, they include plugs that fit your car so you dont have to cut wires. Good lluck with it.
