Q: The scaffold is 18 m long. A 650-N box sits 3.0 m from the left end. What is the tension in each wire? left wire = 520 N; right wire = 130 N left wire = 640 N; right wire = 210 N left wire = 195 N; right wire = 975 N left wire = 295 N; right wire = 1000 N can someone show me how to do this please :)
Lets call left wire T1, right = T2 T1 = (200 x 9) + (650 x 15) = 11550 11550 = 18T1 11550/18 = 641.67 N T2 = (200 x 9) + (650 x 3) = 3750 3750 = 18T2 3750/18 = 208.33 N left wire = 640 N; right wire = 210 N
Q: What are scaffolding poles usually made of?
In most cases they are made of lightweight aluminum poles. In China they are made of bamboo.
Q: What are the advantages of rental scaffolding
2) assembly derrick; 3) the erection of ramps, sheds, and temporary structures stand 4) as the scaffold auxiliary reinforcing bar; erection requirements of steel fastener scaffolding should pay attention to the formation of a solid base plate and the base set by drainage measures to prevent water immersion on wall connecting rod set and load with the open type double scaffolding pole horizontal distance 1.05~1.55m masonry scaffolding step is like 1.20~1.35m or decorative masonry, decorative dual-purpose scaffolding like 1.80m pole vertical distance 1.2~2.0m which allows erection height of 34~50m single row set the pole horizontal distance 1.2~1.4 m pole vertical distance 1.5~2.0m allows erection height 24m longitudinal horizontal bar should be set inside the pole the degree for 3 span longitudinal rod with fastener fastener is connected with the lap fasteners should be staggered
Q: What is the bowl buckle scaffold, bowl buckle scaffold what are the characteristics?
Main componentComponent for forming the main body of a scaffold. The vertical rod and the top rod are respectively provided with two kinds of specifications, and both sides of the rod are welded with a lower bowl buckle with a spacing of 600mm. If the vertical rod and the ejector rod are matched with each other for long use, the utility model can form an arbitrary height scaffold. Take a long pole, the joints should be staggered, the top layer and then leveling rod length two.
Q: A window washer is standing on a scaffoldsupported by a vertical rope at each end. Thescaffold weighs 145 N and is 3.02 m long.Assume the 675 N worker stands 1.28 m fromone end of the scaffold. What is the force on the rope farther fromthe worker?Answer in units of NWhat is the force on the closer rope?Answer in units of N.
Analyzing the force diagram Forces in the Upward direction:...T1,T2 (tension of the ropes) Forces in the Downward direction...M1g (scaffold), M2g (man) Fnet = 0 T1 + T2 = M1g + M2g Analyzing the moments about the center T1 is nearest man T1(1.51) =M2g(1.51 - 1.28) + T2(1.51) T1 + T2 = (675 + 145)= 820 T1 - T2 = ((675)(1.51 - 1.28))/1.51 = 102.81 sum the two equations 2T1 = 922.81 T1 = 461.5 N T1 + T2 = 820 T2 = 358.6 N
Q: The other day i woke up to clean it and there was dry blood in the bottom piercing (by ear lobe) on both sides. I think it's because I got it two days before I got a bath with it and then I was sleeping weird. So anyway, my sister says I should just leave the dry blood because it helps it stay in place and it will irritate it if you pick it off but should I? It hurts even after I soak It to try take the dried blood off.
Let the dry blood come off on its own. Using a sterile saline wound wash spray twice a day to keep it clean will help soften it up and it will come off within time. You can take baths but you really need to make sure your head never gets submerged under the water while your piercing is healing. Washing your hair under the faucet is fine but rinsing it in the water you're sitting in is not.
Q: I am considering getting an ear scaffolding, and was wondering, is it girly???
is there a pic somewhere? ok i googled it, and it is just that long bar that goes through the top of the ear twice, and i actually know more guys with it than girls, but i am not going to lie... cartilidge piercings hurt, not when you get them done, but later on, and that has gotta be hella uncomfortable.

Q: A scaffold of mass 53 kg and length 6.5 m is supported in a horizontal position by a vertical cable at each end. A window washer of mass 80 kg stands at a point 1.7 m from one end.(a) What is the tension in the cable closer to the painter? _______________N(b) What is the tension in the cable further from the painter? _________________N
Static Equilibrium: ΣTorques: 53g(3.5) + 80g(4.8) = T(6.5) {where T = ANS (a) (53)(9.8)(3.5) + (80)(9.8)(4.8) = 6.5T 1817.9 + 3763.2 = 6.5T 5581.1 = 6.5T T = 5581.1/6.5 = 859 N ANS (a) Total weight = (53 + 80)(9.8) = 1303 ANS (b) = 1303.4 - 858.6 = 444 n
