Q: I mean, anybody knows when will they finish the exterior restoration?: My friend, the restoriation of the outside facede of the Guggenheim Museum should be completed in spring of 2008. Q: I got my scaffold pierced last thursday (it is now monday) and it hurts soooo much! i cant even lean it properly, its not infected its just because when i knock one part of it the whole thing hurts, and my hair keeps getting knotted around it etc, can someone tell me who has had experience with this piercing when it will heal?: my friend has it and shes had problems with it like you do with the hair and stuff but hers healed up in about 4 months. and its so cute. if i was aloud to get one i would so get it

Using biocompatible plastics (like PTFE), cleaning cartilage regularly, and increasing your intake of minerals will certainly benefit your piercing; however a piercing will almost always be doomed to failure if improper jewellery and poor planning are used and left unmonitored.

Sterling silver - with the well known 924 stamp - contains 92.5% real silver and 7.5% of other metals, nickel included. Also silver turns black after a while and this black thing especially on a kinda new piercing can easily cause permanent discoloration of the skin ( black/green spot on the piercing hole ) That is why at all piercing studios they only use : Titanium, stainless steel, 18K and above gold. Titanium is the best metal by far. No allergies, no skin sensitivity and body loves it. It's also not expensive at all. It has a beautiful silver color which stays shiny for ever. You can find those jewelry online and on other places as well but it's best to get body jewelry from Tattoo/Piercing parlors. There are a lot of titanium and stainless steel jewelry around which are not great in quality. They are polished ( real titanium is not polished and the color is original done with a very special method ) and they are not than fine. So if you don't have a shop that you trust it's better to go to a professional piercing studio ( not at Claire's and places like that ) to get it.
