Q: i got my scaffold piercing 6 days ago and the piercing was fine but the pain in the healing process is more painful.my ear is getting itchy but it doesn't hurt. it only hurts if i knock it by accident but that pain goes away quicklyi'm just checking that the itch is a healing sign and not an infection signTHANKKKKS :D: It's normal for ear piercings on cartilage to itchy. It's a effect of the healing process. They are also sensitive when you first get them pierced, unless it hurts all the time, even when you don't touch it, that could be a sign of infection. If that happens take it out and go see the person that pierced it. :-)
