- It's normal for ear piercings on cartilage to itchy. It's a effect of the healing process. They are also sensitive when you first get them pierced, unless it hurts all the time, even when you don't touch it, that could be a sign of infection. If that happens take it out and go see the person that pierced it. :-)

- If you clean it for the first month real good you should be fine and clean it right when you get back. The only thing I'm thinking is that industrial is easily snagged and hit, which is going to cause pain and maybe infection. but if your willing to risk that go ahead. it's not the end of the world if you get an infection you just need to clean it with sea salt :P but it can be annoying, your choice.

- an industrial piercing is much different than a helix. a helix is normally pieced from the from to the back of the ear while a helix is pierced from the outside to the inside of the ear. without a picture or seeing it it's hard to say so go to your local professional. piercings don't tickle. the pain shouldn't be a concern.

- I don't think it's a good idea. I've seen some people with industrials and they have weird bumps on their ears. It hurts just as much as a cartilage piercing, but it's two piercings in one so maybe a bit more pain. I say wait until you're older to get it.
