- Q:im 15 and i really want scaffolding, but i was wondering if it hurts like looooooads... has anyone got it done? did it hurt alot? and also can it get infected real bad?
- yesh! and it takes over a year to heal, it hurts to sleep on that side of your head also in the cold it stings (: but if you really want it, get it.
- Q:is it possible to have an industrial piercing done in 2 stages? so like 1 hole first and then a few weeks later the 2nd hole done. ive found a place that for 2 holes is cheaper than having the whole process done as one. Please help :)
- yes it is possible. I know people who have done that. But I suggest getting it done at once because it will hurt less in the long run. Getting your cartilage done hurts for about 2 weeks and then get the top part done that is another 2 weeks. So to get it done together it will only hurt for 2 weeks in instead of 4.
- Q:Is a guillotine more efficient or scaffolds where people are hanged more efficient?
- Scaffolds are sometimes more efficient. Depends on whether the sudden drop snaps their neck, or they strangle to death. Guillotines, however, can sever your head so cleanly your head actually stays alive for ten more seconds. They used to super-sharpen the blade for really bad criminals and the like so they could lift the head and show them their own body before they died.
- Q:What is scaffolding in ESL?
- A scaffold is a type of support that you use before a building is finished and doesn't need support. In ESL, it means you don't begin with full submersion into the language like you would with a native at once, especially if the child is older. You use simple english, instead of regular free writing you might use more structured activities at first, and you teach the students how to use 'context clues' and how to figure out the parts of the language they don't know based on what they do know and the situational aspects. Of course, the scaffolding is supposed to be temporary, you gradually pull it away until there is no scaffolding.
- Q:I mean, anybody knows when will they finish the exterior restoration?
- My friend, the restoriation of the outside facede of the Guggenheim Museum should be completed in spring of 2008. The exterior restoration is part of $29 million restoration project to the 46 year building. Good luck Native New Yorker
- Q:What is the significance of the scaffold in the novel 'The Scarlet Letter' (Hawthorne)?
- It has dramatic importance because key events happen there. Further, at the scaffold is where much hypocrisy gets played out. From Shmoop
- Q:Scaffolding steel pipe, the number of fasteners?Small wall scaffolding, formwork scaffolding support, the number of steel pipe and fastener calculation,
- Fasteners with 6. According to the proportion of 70:15:15 were calculated cross, steering, joint fasteners
- Q:I'm 16 and I already have 3 piercings in each lobe, one on one ear stretched to 12mm. I didn't really think they hurt that much. I also have my nose pierced and had that done with a needle (thus hurting more than a gun) and I mean that hurt but I didn't cry or anything or start freaking out. If I do get my scaffold piercing I'll be going to a very good and trusted piercing and tattoo shop, where the person piercing me will probably be someone I know, so I completely trust them. I am pretty good with pain I supposeI just want some idea of how much it will hurtThankyou (:
- Yes. It like someone pinching you for a short period of time
- Q:I've been watching Japanese anime shows and some of them use a historical background. I would like to have a general idea of what is accepted history and what is alternate. For example; Tokyo was once called Edo. I don't know anything about Japanese history. I'd like to fill in this yawning chasm in my education.
- Although I'm a prof of European History, I also had a field in East Asian studies, which I teach each semester. I've found W.G. Beasley's, The Japanese Experience A Short History, to be a solid introduction to Japanese history. BTW, my son also is a big anime fan who spends most of his cash on DVDs from Amazon. (No ad intended!)
- Q:i live in Washington, and i want one badly ha. i went the other day and asked for the industrial and they said 2 years ago it was made illegal to get done unless your 18 and older, but does the scaffold hold the same law? i need help ASAP!!
- an industrial and a scaffold are the same thing, why would they allow it to one name of it but not the other, and most piercings you have to be 18+ to get, and some you can get at 16, very few you can get any younger than that
