Certainly as the SM, part of your authority dictates that you know every prop, and its placement, as well as its staging, worked by those who are the Props crew. Beyond that, I think I'd go faux fur, and consider that to some, an actual Bear hide might be offensive. Certainly for a real Bear of any significance, Cost would be a factor. Have you checked major companies? Major supply houses? Costuming rental venues? Just my 2 scents Kudos for stepping up I wonder, especially if it's a school production, or small community theater, if you've considered a call list, soliciting the donation/loan of props from parents, other patrons, local businesses?

Q:Ok so my friend threw up on my other friends carpet so she freaked and grabed toliet cleaner and put it on the carpet and then it hardend now its stiff on the carpet. We tryed everything I tryed a steam cleaner and lots of other cleaners and no luck can some one help do you maybe know a remedy please help: Things You’ll Need: Dry Cleaning Fluid Mild Dish Detergents Ammonia Soft Dry Cloth Water Step1 Remove as much of the vomit as possible from the carpet without spreading the mess. Step2 Pour dry cleaning fluid over the stain. Step3 Blot the stain with a dry, white cloth. Step4 Apply a small amount of mild liquid detergent to the stain. Step5 Blot again with the cloth. Step6 Flood the stain with water. Step7 Blot again with the cloth. Step8 Pour a small amount of ammonia over the stain. Step9 Blot again. Step10 Apply a little more detergent to the stain. Step11 Blot again. Step12 Flood the area with water. Step13 Blot one last time. _______________________ Tips : Dry cleaning fluid can be purchased at home supply stores or the dry cleaners. Always test the cleaning solutions on an inconspicuous part of the carpet before using them on a large area. Use a white cloth rather than a colored one to prevent any dyes from coming off on the carpet. As you blot, keep turning the cloth so that you are using a clean, dry section to pick up the stain and the cleaning fluids from the carpet. Don't rub. If using a brush to help clean the stain, always brush from the outer edges of the spill inward to prevent the stain from spreading.

Q:i can put carpet over a wooden floor cant i??: Yes, I worked in a carpet store for 8 years and what we told customers is to have it loose laid meaning get a roll that doesn't need seaming and can go right under the molding around the walls if you don't want the carpet tacks to mess up the wood. If you're not concerned about that then just have it laid over the floors. Best wishes

Q:I have 5 kids and we rent our house .well it got so bad we rented a rug doctor it took so much of the dirt out I couldn't belive how dirty the water was. It didn't take long for the carpet to dry after we did it but now when you get down next to the floor it still smells like dirty socks!.does this mean I got the pad to wet or maybe I didn't mix the soap right?what can I do to take out that dirty sock smell?: carpet always smells like a wet dog. lol You can rent the rug doctor again but this time when after you shampoo... rinse with vinegar water. this will help remove soap residue and help keep your carpet from picking up more dirt that sticks to soap.

Q:I have tried rug cleaning sprays and powders and vacummed it many times. I don't know what else to do and don't want to replace my rug!: White vinegar--it relatively is a large deodorizer, even on puppy urine. Plus it relatively is low-fee, organic, and works as a cloth softener,so it leaves the carpet delicate. It would not pass away a residue as many detergents and soaps do, meaning it won't entice dirt interior the destiny. The vinegar scent dissipates because it dries.

Q:When I scoot into my desk my rug rolls up. I was thinking about putting double sided duct tape on it, but I don't know if it will hurt my carpet. Any advice? Thanks: You'll never get the adhesive off the carpet, how about, moving the carpet, or putting a carpet protector over it? Or don't scoot, roll?
