Q:how can i remove ceramic tiles from plasterboard walls?
The easiest is to cut the drywall and tile off in sheets!!then redrywall. If you think you can save drywall use a putty knife and a hammer to chip away, a very time consuming and nasty job!
Q:Can I remove a raw plug from a wall without badly damaging the plasterboard?
Best just to punch it in, and plaster over the hole, less damage that way
Q:Hello!I've purchased a large mirror for my room and realized that I don't have any wall plugs that would be long enough to reach the load-bearing wall and I've never used wall plugs for the plasterboard wall in front of it.To be honest I have no idea which ones to buy.How much weight and which ones can handle. And is it even a good idea to use plasterboard wall plugs or should I just get longer ones which will reach the load-bearing wall? Thanks!
I would use toggle anchors if its a hollow wall behind the drywall. Wall plugs can come loose in my experience. But you will have a decent sized hole in the wall to repair if you take them out - but same with the plugs too.
Q:hello I intend on insulating and plaster boarding my shed soon. However I am not entirely sure of the best way to plasterboard onto a metal frame, because I do not want screws poking out of the board because you cannot nail into metal obviously. So I was wondering do most people use only liquid nails or how else is the board applied to the frame? I heard you can put small pieces of wood between the frame and the board then nail to the wood, is this a good technique? advice and opinions would be much appreciated thanks
use bolts. plaster and paint over to hide them. get the rounded, covered nuts to go on the outside of the shed.

Q:is plasterboard and gyprock the same material and is it used for walls and ceilings.?
Gyprock is a brand of plasterboard. Yes, you use it for walls and ceilings. For floors you need a stronger particle board.
Q:So, I accidently flooded my bath. The skirting boards around the sink and wood that boxes around the sink have become damp which has now dried out but the wood has cracked and I suppose that it's become warped. Now, I'm not sure how to deal with this as this wood is attached to the plasterboard wall. By removing this wood and replacing it I fear that I might damage the plasterboard wall.Any advice on how to tackle this? I kind of want some advice before I look into calling someone out
Those skirting boards as you call them were originally installed to act as a support for when the plasterers floated out the walls with plaster. You can go ahead and replace whatever is bad with new boards. The plaster will not fall off the wall, when you do this. You are fine! Understand that pre-1978 buildings with plaster have asbestos fibers in them. They are know to cause cancer. You need to specially CONTAIN the area and were special protection when doing this work. DO NOT CONTAMINATE OTHER AREAS OF THE HOUSE.
Q:What is the difference between PVC paper gypsum board and veneer gypsum board?
First, the price of the former than the latter, Second, the former waterproof, the latter is not waterproof
