Q: Good day everyone.
Garden Salad
Q: my neighbours on both side of me are complaining about my 2 cats going in there gardens and fouling! they have gone into the pots with plants in and scrapped the soil all over, peed on plants and generally making a nuisance of themselves!... im at my wits end with this problem, i dont think its fair to keep them indoors all the time! anyone got any advice on anything i could buy my neighbours for them to put in there gardens to detter them would be well accepted?
Tell okorder / Citrus scented cleaners can be another means of keeping cats out of your garden. Be aware that you will need to re-apply this occasionally since the scent will wash off with water. Another idea that may involve less maintenance but more money is to set up sprinklers attached to motion sensors. So when the cat walks near the garden, the sprinklers will turn on, scaring the cat away. ** Never use mothballs, because they can harm the cat. Mothballs are composed of naphthalene and/or paradichlorobenzene; both are toxic substances.
Q: The faucets are striped out in our mobile home... The previous owners were very rough on things..

Q: I just got him 3 days ago. I feed him at 7am and then take him out for 15-20 minutes to potty, at 10am i leave to work and leave a little bit of food and water. I work from 10am-6pm (2-3 days a week), and i can't come by at lunch. My neighbor has agreed to check up on him, but not i'm not sure if at 12 or 1. He's already peed and pooped all over the living room and i know that's normal for a puppy because they can't hold it too long.Around 6:30-7pm i feed him again and then take him outside for another 15-20 minutes. I noticed that he doesn't like to be on the sidewalk and is usually messing around where ever there is grass. My question is when i'm home, How many times should i take my puppy out when i'm home? Is there a general rule? Is 15-20 minutes enough for the puppy? I don't have a backyard, it only a small area for him to walk on concrete but the front has a small grass area.Thanks.
He should also go out as soon as you get home from work and right before you go to bed and as soon as you wake up in the morning and right before you leave. He should still be going out right after he eats. He should have at least 40 min. of walking/running outside everyday (if weather permits) plus the potty breaks where you stay close to the house to speed it up. Also, you might find it better to crate train him or at least have him in a pen if you don't already while you are gone and sleeping. There should not be any food left down when it is not feeding time and especially when you are not available to take him out. And only a little water should be provided, not enough to make him need to pee. One more thing. Right now he will prefer to walk on grass because his pads are soft and tender. On your walks you should alternate between letting him walk on grass and making him walk on the road. Good luck!
Q: My mom has that better homes and gardens cookbook (its old i think) and she always uses the easy baked beans recipe for Christmas but some how the page got ripped out and lost. If anyone has this cookbook could you please give me the recipe. It is on p.785 and she says its just called quot;easy baked beansquot; Thanks so much!
Easy Baked Beans Source: Better Homes Gardens 4 slices bacon 1/2 c chopped onion 2 (1-pound) cans pork and beans 2 T brown sugar 1 T Worcestershire sauce 1 t prepared mustard Preheat oven to 325° F. Cook bacon until crisp; drain, reserving 2 tablespoons drippings. Crumble bacon. Cook onion in drippings until tender; add with bacon to beans, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, and prepared mustard; mix well. Bake uncovered in 1-1/2 quart casserole for 1-1/2 to 1-3/4 hours. Makes 6 servings
Q: Do you think it would be a good software to use? Its called Better Homes and Gardens Home Designer
Download google sketchup! Its free and u can design pools, chairs and even HOUSES!! They are full scale 2!!
Q: home gardening
Rotate the placement of your tomatoes in your garden. Other than that, I have no suggestions. I've been growing vegetables for more than 50 years, and have never had a problem with tomatoes getting diseases.
Q: My husband and I bought a desk from Walmart..the Better Homes and Gardens Computer Desk in Abbey Oak. The number on the box is BH084-101-76-19. It came with no freaking instruction manual and no one seems to be of any help! I was just wondering if anyone knew where I could possibly find these instructions before we load the heavy sucker up to return it. Thanks in advance for anyone able to help! :-D
I am not sure if it is for a desk made by Ameriwood, or if it is a Wal-Mart number. The rep said you can get the instructions by email if you call. If you go to the Wal-Mart site, they have a link for consumer questions and answers. Apparently it is not that uncommon for them to omit desk assembly instructions from the boxes. Additional Details: I'm sorry you had so many problems! I do like the Sauder products more, I think.
Q: Do homes in Thailand have gardens? What style? English? French? Balinese?
Ours has Mango trees, flowers, a sort of moat around the outside (in part of which which we keep fish (to catch and cook fresh)) and in which there are also lotus flowers. The garden also has half a dozen or so massive Thai water jars. The garden also has a spirit house (for religious reasons) and a dog house (for dog reasons). From what others have written I guess this qualifies as Thai style. I'm not sure why we have the water jars - This page says that the water jars are about the quintessential role of water in Thai life so that must be it, we have a have them because its quintessentially Thai: www.thaigirl.in.th/article.php/Wa...
Q: In the book it describes different ways you can use stuff that you would throw away, ex. such as lint from a dryer, you would save it and put it in a orange bag so the birds can go to it and make their nests. Another example from the book, it tells you that you can take a kiddie pool and make your own little pond by digging a hole and placing the pool in the hole, then you simply get water plantlife and create an exotic mini-pond. Another tip it gives is by planting tomatoes in 5-gallon buckets and hanging them upside down for clean big and red tomatoes. Also there is one where it says you can plant potatoes in a 5-gallon bucket and when they are ready for picking you can just dump out the bucket for easier harvesting. If anyone has any idea of the name of the book please respond. The title has something to do with saving you loads of money throughout the year.
This okorder . You can search for the book by catagory. I would start with home and garden. You might also want to try search phrases like money saving tips, home recycling tips, and others. I'll bet it won't take you long to find it. Good luck with your search.
