- Q: I am going to start a business doing Wild Tree Home Parties and Selling Wild Tree Products. They are a natural Herb, Spice and Mixes Company that have really great tasting, afforadable, healthy solutions that make your life easier. I know that there are tons of Home Party companies out there...I have been to Arbonne, Tupperware, Home Garden, Partylite, Lia Sophia, Passion...etc. I hate going but usually when I get there I have fun. At Wild Tree Parties (called Tasting Parties) all that is done is tasting different products, no presentation, no games, nothing silly, just straighforward...So what is your take on this type of Home Party...would you love it or hate?
- I hate getting those invites in the mail. I cringe when I see another Tupperware, Home Interior, etc. But, if food is involved, I don't usually mind them too much. So, I guess I would go to ONE Wild Tree Party.
- Q: Other opinions welcome too. When I add feminist in the question it automatically goes to the place.I cannot be bothered with the extra steps.
- I'm intrigued by you're interested in feminist views on this? :) I am a feminist and was home schooled. My parents taught me and my four sisters in our own home/garden in nice weather and we received tailored, intimate tutoring. Home education isn't suitable for everyone but my sisters and I have all gone on to do extremely well both academically, socially and career-wise. I think the benefits of being taught at home range from one-to-one tutoring in a relaxed atmosphere to the absence of bullying and peer pressure. Many people worry that home schooled children miss out socially, but if they attend social meetings outside of home lessons then this isn't an issue. I went to ballet lessons, drama lessons, swimming lessons, pottery-making lessons, youth clubs... Anything that caught my or my parents' eye, and I also spent time playing outside with children in my area. When it comes to doing formal tests it is easy to get correspondence courses from local or national colleges and sit exams in local schools. My sisters and I all did our GCSEs at home then went to further education colleges for A levels before university. Apologies if you're from the US and not familiar with these terms! Hope I've helped you. :)
- Q: And once indoors, they usually die because the humidity indoors is too low for both centipedes and pill bugs to survive.
- False. I would think if it's dry outside, they are looking for a wet environment. They cannot live indoors because they are crustaceans.
- Q: i have bugs cutting into my leaves of the plants on my garden is there a cheep home remedy to get rid of them?
- Beer, it's good to keep snails out and even bugs.
- Q: Some part of my home garden is covered with ground covering plants (some type of ivy with networked roots). The garden is full of weeds and small trees. If I use Preen or other type of chemicals, can I get rid of weeds? I'm thinking removing all the ground covering and weeds, and cover the area with mulch. If there is a way to have ground covering with weeds well controlled, I may try it. I appreciate your input.
- Before you resort to chemicals try pulling them by hand. If there to many to pull try using a hoe. Be gentle around the roots of the plants and vegetables. That is the way I do it. I never use chemicals.
- Q: I am looking for companies who have home decor parties. Do you nknow of any?
- there's a company called home interiors. I would look them up and see if theres a representative in your local area. They can either assist you if you're looking for merchandise or if you're looking to become an consultant I'm sure they can direct you there too.
- Q: I'm looking for a certain picture of a home from one of the magazines articles. Is there a place I can see their old Magazines?
- Try the library or ask the librarian about internet searches....they are very helpful about this and may be able to get a back issue for you.
- Q: Some A$$H0LE applied pesticides to my entire home garden, and left a pesticides application sign. I want to know if the vegetables I grew are still safe to eat after I clean it.
- It's really sick that someone did that without your permission! First foremost you need to know what pesticide was used. With most spray pesticides, just delay harvesting by a few days, then wash the veggies well in warm soapy water you should be good to go.
- Q: I am a beginner and am looking at turbo floorplan pro at $120.00and Better Homes and Gardens House design for about $70.00.Is Turbo floorplan better, but overkill?
- I have Better Homes and Gardens Deluxe...but I think it has the same things as the one you are looking at. I like it, however I have not tried nor heard of turbo floorplan pro. The 3D rendering for both look pretty compatible, but I think BHG might be a little nicer so it really comes down to user friendly. Look at the galleries for both products. Also I get new item downloads almost every month for mine via email. I have used a couple other products for school and work and they all basically work the same, it's just about all the little extras and how smoothly it works. I see the turbo floorplan is on sale for $90 right now, and they have a free trial, why don't you try the trial to help make a decision.
- Q: what are the top 10 stores for shopping for home and garden in the US?
- Lowes, Home Depot and garden centers that you see along some of the main roads in your area. We have one called Arbor. Wal Mart has a lot of things.
