Q: garden and home
It really depends on why you want it divided. I'm going to assume it's for some sort of repair. I would use 6MIL plastic sheeting. It's strong enough to hang for a great distance and much tougher to penetrate, by accident, than thinner MIL sheeting. You can find it in various lengths and widths at Home Depot or Lowes. Be sure to get enough so that it covers the distances from floor to ceiling and wall to wall. If you need to have an entry/exit in it for access, be sure to overlap by approximately three feet, at least two feet. Hope this helps.
Q: I already have squash, cucumber, tomatoe, corn, cantaloupe, and purple hall peas and okra.
Peppers. Green, red or yellow as well as basil for cooking them.
Q: After reading Scocasso !'s comment, I'm really inspired to get a edible garden on my own. My parents used to have a small edible homegrown garden when we were growing up and I remember it was really enjoyable to grow you own food.So does anyone know any good online or catalogue source where I can buy seeds for vegetable and fruits? Or perhaps any tip on finding a local garden supplier? Thanks a lot.
go to ur nearest Home depot.U will get all the information required. Also u will get books on home garden.
Q: Does anyone happen to have the Sugar cookie recipe from the 1966 Better homes and Gardens edition of quot;Cookies and Candiesquot;? I would appreciate some help. Thank you.

Q: Best IPM approach for southern california gardens?
INTERGRATED PEST MANAGEMENT. What every good gardener should know about and practice in their own yard. How to care for plants with or without chemicals. MASTER GARDENER sights, all State Univ coop Extension services and County Farm Advisor's offices have tons of free info for the public on IPM for home garden. Pest control from gophers to snails, ants to racoons. Disease control from soil pathogens to sooty mold rust. Prevention to control. When to and when not to... water, prune, feed, spray, kill, cure, avoid, prepare, stake, unstake, plant, dig up, conserve control every thing that moves or doesn't move in your yard. From managing weeds to management of nematodes. Frost damage to sunscald. Too much iron to not enough nitrogen. What is it how can I get rid of it? to what you need and how where to get it? Powdery mildew, fireblight, pesticides, sanitation, poison oak, biological control, spittlebugs, soil deficiencies, pests to galls. Your IPM info will cover them all. In your yard if you've done it, need to do it, want to know what it is or how to do, there is an IPM flyer or booklet waiting for you. You paid for the info with your tax money, so go get some of your money back via some good old know how? The real cool thing about it... they ALWAYS HAVE THE BEST ANSWER EVERY TIME!
Q: i would like to have an herb garden but don't know what time a year is best for them in Colorado....and how to start them.
Well, are you planning on an indoor or outdoor garden? based on what I read, (1st link, it's a little outdated) it certainly looks like herb gardening in Colorado can be pretty hard. But you can always try, you know. Just be patient! And from an experienced gardener to a newbie, I think you should try the Indoor type first. Start with something simple. You could try basil. You can grow it inside and just make sure it gets sunlight a lot (not a problem in Colorado, right?) and just read and read and read about indoor gardening. Herb gardening can be tough at first. So I suggest getting a book or something. check this one, it's the first book I bought. check the 2nd link below they have some very good articles and the book is pretty cheap, just $14 something.
Q: Single mom with 12 year old son and very limited funds. Last home was leased from people who didn't pay the mortgage with our rent and home was foreclosed. currently on Intracoastal home with no A/C. home is over 100 degrees.Owner will not fix and code enforcement has visited. Bad house. We need help please. Used property management company who didn't check for foreclosure issues. We are on limited time. Is there a website for home owners dealing directly with tenants where the move in monies are not extreme????
You can use the map on the right side to find rentals in a specific area, and you can get the owners' contact info through that web site. Hope this helps...good luck!
Q: How can I keep squirrels from eating all the vegetables in my garden?
Potatoes, gravy, corn on the cob and squirrel. Squirrel stir fry. Baked squirrel, carrots, onions and potatoes. BBQ squirrel with steam veggies.
