FAQ

1.    For Polished Porcelain Tile, is the 30*60 available?

—— Yes, 30*60 is available. Due to the basic size is 60*60, we need to cut 60*60 tile into 30*60. 6 pcs are packed into one carton.

2.    What is the MOQ for this tile?

—— Normally the MOQ is 1382.4 m2 for one 20’ container. To support our clients, we could go with 3 models to fill one container at most.

3.    Can we use the carton with our own design and brand name?

—— Yes. Normally we go with Neutral Carton or our Carton with our CMAX brand name. But for carton of client’s own design, the MOQ for one size is 5 containers, due to the carton factory can’t arrange production if quantity is below 5000 pcs.

Q: Dear Sir/Madami have question regarding installing tiles 30*30cm*2.5cm thick for hall and rooms my question is whats the min. and Max. cement mortar must be placed under neath tiles (i.e bond coat in between concrete slab and tile )please advice and thank for help and appreciated
If you're using ceramic tiles (very regular size and relatively smooth/even back), use a 1/4 square notched trowel, held somewhere between 45 and 90 degrees (vertical). If you're using natural stone tiles (e.g. granite, marble, slate), go for 3/8 square notched trowel and back-butter the tiles. Make sure the concrete slab is clean, sound, free of cracks and level before you start and follow the instructions for your thinset. You'll likely want to use a modified thinset which will help bond to the concrete better. If you have any doubts about the stability of your slab, consider installing an isolation membrane between the tile and slab. Schluter's Ditra system is the best of the breed for this. If you use an isolation membrane, use unmodified thinset (instead of modified).
Q: are tiles or reptile carpet better for a bearded dragon tank? i was also wondering where can i buy tiles specifically for reptile tanks?
For the best answers, search on this site https://shorturl.im/awFCO I prefer tiles. While the carpet may look nice and is not ingestible, the fabric can snag on claws and teeth. It is absorbent too, so even picking poop up right away will leave the bacteria behind inside the carpet - there is no wiping down, you have to wash the whole thing. As well as being much easier to clean, tiles also hold and spread heat better :)
Q: I have really old honeycomb tile in my bathroom and it would be extremely difficult to remove it. The surface is pretty flat .Would ceramic tile work best , or something like self stick vinyl tiles?
The answer to your question is NO...The reason is that you would end up with cracking tiles and lifting. Not to mention that the cement won't stick long term. You can rent a tile remover for little cost if you are willing to put in a weekend of sweat equity. It sure beats spending thousands on a contractor to do it.
Q: Is it possible to remove just the top row of the ceramic tile on my bathroom walls without damaging the remaining tile? I‘d like to replace the top row with glass tiles for a more updated look.
in case you're only worried approximately eliminating the tiles, and don't care in the event that they are broken in the process the eliminating, then chisel and hammer could artwork. besides the undeniable fact that! in case you're attempting to maintain those previous tiles in tact, that's a plenty tougher technique. Secondly, you stated the partitions have been plaster (and lathe in the back of that?) as quickly as those partitions are compromised, that's a great form of artwork to re-plaster. different concepts: a million. call a enterprise who resurfaces previous tiles with yet another colored ceramic coating, 2) shrink out those sections of partitions and set up different ingredients, like granite, abbatibi (sp?) , fiberglass sections, or 3) pull down the previous partitions, post new greenboard and re-tile with the tiles of your selection. in case you % an spectacular consequence, i could flow with the 0.33 selection, besides the undeniable fact that that's a great form of artwork. some weeks in case you're working area time and definitely know what you're doing. If it is not probably important to have it final for say, better than 7 years, i could merely have a enterprise re-coat the tile. it will take them a million-4 days and could fee equivalent to or under the different concepts. sturdy success! It' an ambitious undertaking.
Q: Does anyone know where I could find a (preferably antique) terracotta roof tile? I am finding companies that import these tiles, but they sell 100 at a time, while I need 1-3.
hiiiiiiiiii okorder
Q: are there any products made for removing grout off of tile because we forgot to clean the grout off of our tile and it dried over night and now its hard and is stuck pretty well. does anyone know of any acids or anything made for this?
use a small palm sander. Do not take it all the way down to the tile. Just 90% of the way and use goof off to finish it off. Good Luck
Q: Can ceramic tile be applied over my existing formica counter tops? They are in good shape, just ugly. They are not molded, but the formica is not loose anywhere and would probably be hard to remove. Anyone have any experience with this sort of project?
Yes you do get tile cement that will stick to smooth surfaces. You can all so rough the surface up with a coarse sandpaper. You do get a bonding liquid that you apply before you put the tile cement it helps with the bonding. Just make sure the counter top isn't flexible because that can cause problems All so make sure when you fill the tile joins with grout that it fills it good and make sure your grout is water resistant
Q: More specifically, do you lay the tile right against the floorboard with no groat visible? Or would you put a spacer in between the floorboard and the tile so that it you have grout along the edge?
The best way is to remove the baseboard trim and tile under it leaving a 1/4 to 3/8 gap to the wall. Then cover that with the trim. If you absolutely do not want to remove the trim then you need to put a spacer along the wall so that all the tile is layed uniform. A batten as the previous poster stated is a good idea. You then want to remove the batten when the tile is set. Do not grout up to the wall however, it leaves no room for expansion and you will end up with cracked grout or worse, ballooning in the middle. You want to buy a caulk that is the same color as the grout (they sell them at most home improvement stores). Use this to caulk the seam at the edge between the tile and the trim.
Q: what tiles would be better to install kitchen? sometimes I get some information on the internet. My friends saw some beautiful pitcures about floors online.
Porcelain or ceramic tiles work great in a kitchen. You're better going to your local flooring contractor than big box stores- you'll save on installation too. Just do an internet search for tile installation in your area. If you get tile for your kitchen, make sure you get the grout lines sealed, or you will end up with gray/black grout, and it's not something that can always be fixed without replacing the grout. It may cost a bit extra, but you will regret not doing it!
Q: A 15 foot by 18 foot porch floor is to be completely coverede with 1-foot square tiles. White tiles are to cover the center of the floor and green tiles are to form a 2-foot wide border around the white tiles. How many green tiles and how many white tiles will be needed?/. help plz. can you show work thanks very much.
First find the area of the porch floor A = 15 * 18 = 270 ft? The green tiles form a 2-ft wide border on all four sides of the floor. This means that the length will be 2-ft shorter at each end, and the width will be 2-ft narrower at each side, of the white portion. The length and width will be L = 18 - 2(2) = 18 - 4 = 14 feet long W = 15 - 2(2) = 15 - 4 = 11 feet wide and its area will be Aw = 11 * 14 = 154 ft? [Where Aw = area of white tiles] The area of the green portion, Ag, will be the total area, A, less the area of the white tiles, Aw Ag = A - Aw = 270 - 154 = 116 ft? [Where Ag = area of green tiles] Since the area of each tile is 1 ft?, this means that there will be 116 green tiles and 154 white ones.
