PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Pultruded grating is made by a particular assembly process, which using “I” shape as its main load-bearing and special rod to go through the bearing bar. Pultruded grating include the standard grating and the custom grating, the custom grating can be designed to meet customer’s requirement or special using condition by changing the shape, size and space of the bearing bars, the surface can be covered with lozenge panel, grit panel, or added the anti-slippery sand directly.
FRP pultruded grating has the most characteristics of molded grating, but it has its distinct advantages, it has very high fiberglass content in the loading direction, so it has very high load capability, it has more superiority when used at wide span, so that the basic support will be decreased and the project cost will be reduced accordingly.

- Q: Can FRP roofing panels be used for covered walkways?
- Yes, FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic) roofing panels can be used for covered walkways. FRP panels are lightweight, durable, and have excellent weather resistance, making them a suitable choice for creating covered walkways that protect pedestrians from rain, snow, and sunlight. Additionally, FRP panels are available in various colors and designs, allowing for customization and aesthetic appeal in walkway designs.
- Q: Can FRP roofing panels be used for agricultural buildings?
- Yes, FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic) roofing panels can be used for agricultural buildings. In fact, FRP panels are often a popular choice in the agricultural industry due to their durability, cost-effectiveness, and versatility. FRP roofing panels are known for their high strength-to-weight ratio, making them lightweight yet incredibly strong. This makes them suitable for a wide range of agricultural applications, including barns, livestock shelters, poultry houses, and storage facilities. Additionally, FRP panels are resistant to various environmental factors that are common in agricultural settings. They are highly resistant to corrosion, UV rays, chemicals, and moisture, which means they can withstand harsh weather conditions and the corrosive effects of animal waste and fertilizers. Moreover, FRP roofing panels offer excellent insulation properties, providing a more comfortable environment for livestock and ensuring temperature control inside the agricultural buildings. They also have good light transmission properties, allowing for natural daylight to enter the building and reduce the need for artificial lighting during the day. Furthermore, FRP panels are relatively easy to install and maintain. They are available in various sizes and can be easily cut to fit the specific dimensions of the agricultural building. Due to the lightweight nature of FRP panels, installation is often quicker and requires less structural support compared to other roofing materials. Maintenance typically involves regular cleaning to remove dirt and debris, ensuring the longevity and performance of the panels. Overall, FRP roofing panels are a reliable and practical choice for agricultural buildings. Their durability, cost-effectiveness, and ability to withstand harsh environmental conditions make them a suitable roofing option for farmers and agricultural businesses.
- Q: Do FRP roofing panels have a specific load-bearing capacity?
- Yes, FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic) roofing panels do have a specific load-bearing capacity. The load-bearing capacity of FRP roofing panels depends on various factors such as the thickness of the panel, the type and arrangement of the reinforcement materials, and the overall design of the roofing system. Generally, FRP roofing panels are designed to withstand specific loads, including dead loads (weight of the panels themselves), live loads (snow, wind, and other environmental factors), and any additional loads like maintenance personnel walking on the roof. The load-bearing capacity is usually specified by the manufacturer and can vary depending on the specific product. It is important to consult the manufacturer's specifications, guidelines, and installation instructions to determine the appropriate load-bearing capacity for a particular FRP roofing panel. Additionally, consulting with a structural engineer or a professional roofing contractor can provide valuable insights into the specific load-bearing capacity requirements for a given project or application.
- Q: Do FRP roofing panels require specific ventilation systems?
- No, FRP roofing panels do not require specific ventilation systems. However, adequate ventilation is important for any roofing system to prevent moisture buildup and ensure proper air circulation, which can help extend the lifespan of the roof.
- Q: Are FRP roofing panels suitable for healthcare or medical facilities?
- Yes, FRP roofing panels are suitable for healthcare or medical facilities. FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Panels) are highly durable, waterproof, and resistant to chemicals, making them ideal for environments that require stringent cleanliness and sanitation standards, such as hospitals and healthcare facilities. Additionally, FRP panels are easy to clean, maintain, and do not support the growth of mold or bacteria, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for patients and healthcare professionals.
- Q: How are FRP roofing panels secured to the roof structure?
- FRP roofing panels are typically secured to the roof structure using screws, nails, or adhesive. These panels are designed with pre-drilled holes that allow for easy attachment to the underlying framework. Additionally, sealants may be used to ensure a watertight seal between the panels and the roof structure to prevent any leakage.
- Q: Can FRP roofing panels be used for hospitals?
- Yes, FRP roofing panels can be used for hospitals. FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic) roofing panels are a durable and lightweight option that can provide excellent insulation and weather resistance. They are commonly used in various industries, including healthcare facilities such as hospitals, due to their ability to withstand harsh conditions, offer energy efficiency, and require low maintenance. Additionally, FRP panels can be customized to meet specific design requirements, making them suitable for hospitals with unique architectural needs.
- Q: Are FRP roofing panels resistant to fading from exposure to sunlight?
- FRP roofing panels exhibit remarkable resistance against fading caused by sunlight exposure. Their structure consists of a layer of fiberglass reinforced with a polymer resin, resulting in exceptional UV stability. This stability effectively prevents the panels from fading or yellowing when exposed to sunlight for extended periods. Moreover, FRP roofing panels often undergo a protective gel coat or are coated with a film resistant to UV radiation, further enhancing their resistance to fading. These coatings serve as a barrier, safeguarding the panels from the detrimental effects of UV radiation and preventing any degradation of color. It is worth mentioning that while FRP roofing panels boast high resistance to fading, prolonged exposure to intense sunlight or extreme environmental conditions can still lead to some degree of color alteration over time. However, the fading is typically minimal and does not significantly compromise the overall appearance or performance of the panels. To summarize, FRP roofing panels are renowned for their exceptional ability to resist fading caused by sunlight exposure. Their composition, combined with protective coatings, makes them a robust and long-lasting roofing option that maintains its aesthetic appeal even in harsh weather conditions.
- Q: Can FRP roofing panels be installed over purlins or directly on the roof deck?
- Yes, FRP roofing panels can be installed over purlins or directly on the roof deck. However, it is important to follow the manufacturer's guidelines and recommendations for proper installation and ensure that the purlins or roof deck provide adequate support for the panels.
- Q: Can FRP roofing panels be installed in high-wind areas?
- Yes, FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic) roofing panels can be installed in high-wind areas. FRP panels are known for their durability and strength, making them suitable for withstanding strong winds. However, it is important to ensure proper installation techniques are followed to maximize their resistance to high winds. This may include using appropriate fasteners and sealants, following manufacturer's guidelines, and considering wind uplift forces in the design. Additionally, it is advisable to consult local building codes and regulations to ensure compliance with specific wind load requirements in high-wind areas.
