Q: did any one think that the light is the original energy?And can you explane if there is or not 'a different between light and heat?can I have light without heat?can it be heat without light?: I dont think you can call some energy original energy. The universe consists of geometry, particles and fields. Particles contain energy quantities as one of their properties, which allows them to interact (force exertes a force on a particle in an electric field for example) or rather allows the particles interact. You cannot say that fields (or electromagnetic waves or indeed light) are original and particles not, or vice versa. Heat is just randomised kinetic energy within a body (infrared radiation is not really heat, but it has the wavelength to excite molecules and give them KE). Light is varying electromagnetic field of particle(s) (because these particles vibrate). Other two questions are a bit abstract. You can and you can't. There must be vibration to enduce EM waves (light) thus KE and heat. But in the case of microwave background radiation you will not feel it, cos its microwave. In the case of a diode the electrons drop to lower energy states and radiate waves at single frequency vibrating for short time. Can you call it heat? Hard to tell

This gives you a light containing a bit of all colors but whose blue, yellow and red are reduced. Similarly most blue surfaces reflect all colors to some degree but they reflect blue better than most. If you shine such a light onto such a surface then the light that comes off will be cyan. But it will only look cyan if the overall illumination is white light. If you are in a room lit by a green light bulb then your eye adapts. If you now look at a blue board then, although the light coming off it is cyan, it will look blue to you. If go combine red and blue light you always get magenta. Cyan shining through a blue filter. The same comments apply as for the green/blue case. If you generate cyan from a spectrum and shine it onto a pure blue filter then nothing gets through. However if you use a normal cyan light that contains a mixture of blue, cyan and green then the light coming through a normal filter will be blue. It will have some green and cyan (along with a tiny bit of red and yellow etc) but most of the light will be blue.

Q: looking for light projects: I may be totally off with this but infinity reminded me of a type of decorative light fixture which was more artsy than a viable light source. The structure was basically a shadow box perhaps 3 inches deep, and in this case it may have been square. At the back of the box was a mirror that fit entirely. Around the inside of the box were what may have been white christmas lights, and the face was glass covered. As I recall the entire structure was painted black. As I'm thinking this however there must have been other mirrors, unless the back of the clear glass front was refelctive to the inside, because what one could see was a series of these lights in a vanishing perspective way. Thank you.: I don't know how many lights you will put up. If it is the tiny ones I would say your taking a chance on them but again with the medium ones you can give it a try. There are the huge ones but I don't think you want to use them. The only think that you can do would be to forget reading with the tiny one and see how you react to reading using the medium ones
