Calcium Silicon Powder
1. Description:
Silicon Calcium Alloy is a stable compound; it is supplied in the form of solid with approximate melting point of 1245°C and boiling point 1800°C in normal atmospheric pressure.
Solubility in water reacts with moist gas and water.
Silicon Calcium Alloy is a potent deoxidizer and desulfurizer utilized in the production of high grade steels. Although Silicon itself is a powerful deoxidizer, Calcium is by far more powerful. In addition, Calcium Silicon is used to control the shape, size and distribution of oxide and sulfide inclusions improving fluidity, machinability, ductility, and impact properties of the final product. Calcium Silicon can be obtained in lump or powder form. The most widely used method for intergraded steel applications is in the form of cored wire. This is mainly because calcium has a low density and high reactivity in the ladle making it difficult to introduce and retain in the melt. Cored wire eliminates these variables.

3. Application:
(1) Silicon calcium alloy is an ideal deoxidizer and desulfurizer.
(2) CaSi is generally used in manufacturing steel of high quality and low carbon, and the same as the production of stainless.
(3) CaSi is also served as a starting material for other special alloys, such as nickel base alloy and titanium base alloy.
(4) Silicon Calcium Alloy can also be used as the inoculant of cast iron and the additive in the production of nodular cast iron.

- Q: I know that one band is classic Thrash and one is Nu-Metal, but these are my favorite bands. Why is it that metal purist love to discriminate against Nu-metal bands? Slipknot might not be as thrash as Slayer but the Vocals are much heavier than slayer. Slipknot is obviously not death metal but they are the heaviest and one of the most innovative and talented bands around. I personally don't care if i'm not a true quot;metalheadquot; if I like slipknot, I just wanted to get your opinions. Why do people discriminate against Slipknot?
- OK here is a question. Is Sodium a metal or non metal?
- Q: Is there a special way to clean/take care of metal jewelry? I clean them with cloth after use but why is making them smell like metal. I know because they are metal but sometimes they can smell pretty bad.
- What bands seem to hold the most influence? What are some prominent music techniques that are still used frequently? What do you think inspires musicians to write, if they seem to be inspired? What exactly distinguishes heavy metal from other forms of metal?
- Q: Whats the best metal and hard rock music that is newer?
- There Is Actually No True Meaning Of Metal Even Ask The Guy Who Invented Metal He Could'nt Tell You
- Q: black metal, death metal, doesn't matter
- metals are found in ores. these ore are comprised of other various elements ( like oxygen, sulfur, etc). for the metal extraction, the ore needs to be crushed, then frothed, then left to react with dilute acid, then smelted . ores can be found on the surface of the earths crust or deep in the earths crust. their is also a high percentage of iron in the mantle, outer core and inner core of the earth.
- Q: I have metal arms, but someone I know has metal legs. We always fight over which is better. What do you think?
- GOjericho is right....,if u don't wanna by it you can watch it on YouTube. But play part 3 first (that's solid snake dad) and play 1 2 4 and the others (that's solid snake)
- Q: I need some death metal songs to learn on the bass guitar.
- Most elements are metals. They are typically shiny, good conductors of heat and electricity, have a high density, and only melt at high temperatures. Metals are ductile and malleable, so their shape can be easily changed into thin wires or sheets. Metals will corrode, gradually wearing away like rusting iron. Nonmetals, are very different from metals. Their surface is dull and they are poor conductor of heat and electricity. As compared to metals, they have low density and will melt at low temperatures. The shape of a nonmetal cannot be changed easily as they tend to be brittle and will break. Metalloids have properties of both metals and non-metals. Some of the metalloids, such as silicon and germanium, are semi-conductors. This means that they can carry an electrical charge under special conditions. This property makes metalloids useful in computers and calculators .
- Q: dont say nu metal or rap metal!!!if ur gonna say that go listen to the iowa album then talkit has no rap in itmayb self titled does but that doesnt matter
- I feel so bad skipping over these links, lol. I just can't get into most harsh vocals, I'm sorry! :'O It distracts me from the music. Some of the only ones I like are from Draconian, Otep, and Cadaveria......but those are all well known (well, in metal terms at least). Thanks for trying to bring unknown bands to RP though, haha. If you can find me a symphonic band with a clean vocalist, I'd be more than happy to answer! xD

- Q: WHY!? and fav. bands:]I love it
- Metals are found in the ground. A part of the ground that has a lot of the metal in it is called ore and they process the ore and extract the metal from it. example, aluminum comes from an ore called bauxite.
