- i would say ya because the metal scene has become very dilluted in classification. i.e.screemo, metal,grind, grindcore, hyphy,death,deathcore,. i would call them heavy metal. i play death metal guitar myself. but whos to say?

- The hollow bar will not be stronger than the solid bar. But depending on its use, it may be close. If the bar is round and is used to transmit torque (like an automotive drive shaft), most of the work is done by the part farthest from the center, so the bar could be made hollow without sacrificing too much strength. And as has mentioned before, by using a larger diameter tube, you might should be able to make a stronger shaft with the same (or less) material as a solid bar. That's why auto driveshafts have been hollow for so long. In tension, or shear, I think the solid shaft would win. I am not sure about compression. Maybe someone after me will answer that.

- 1. Which is hotter, the air inside your oven, or the metal inside? Since the metal is way hotter, it conducts heat better. 2. I'm guessing that is a metallic trait. Do gases even melt? lol 3. Dull/brittle sounds like a metalloid to me. If that's not an option, I would stick with metal. 4. Metals usually react with stuff on the opposite side of the periodic table....which are usually non-metals (aka ionic compound). I'm a little rusty at this stuff, but I think those are right.

Thrash metal - High tempo, quick paced metal, kinda like a harder faster new metal. Gojira, Doom, Dead Head. Death Metal - Death themed, high tuned guitar, quick tempo and heavy use of guitars. Low and high growling. Carcass, Abysmal Dawn. Animosity, Angel Death, Gandalf Doom metal - Slow tempo, doom and destructioned themed - Swallow the sun, Candelmass, Eternal Tears Of Sorrow. You kinda get the idea. If you simply say heavy metal nowadays, you basically refer to Nu-metal.
