Calcium Silicon Powder
1. Description:
Silicon Calcium Alloy is a stable compound; it is supplied in the form of solid with approximate melting point of 1245°C and boiling point 1800°C in normal atmospheric pressure.
Solubility in water reacts with moist gas and water.
Silicon Calcium Alloy is a potent deoxidizer and desulfurizer utilized in the production of high grade steels. Although Silicon itself is a powerful deoxidizer, Calcium is by far more powerful. In addition, Calcium Silicon is used to control the shape, size and distribution of oxide and sulfide inclusions improving fluidity, machinability, ductility, and impact properties of the final product. Calcium Silicon can be obtained in lump or powder form. The most widely used method for intergraded steel applications is in the form of cored wire. This is mainly because calcium has a low density and high reactivity in the ladle making it difficult to introduce and retain in the melt. Cored wire eliminates these variables.

3. Application:
(1) Silicon calcium alloy is an ideal deoxidizer and desulfurizer.
(2) CaSi is generally used in manufacturing steel of high quality and low carbon, and the same as the production of stainless.
(3) CaSi is also served as a starting material for other special alloys, such as nickel base alloy and titanium base alloy.
(4) Silicon Calcium Alloy can also be used as the inoculant of cast iron and the additive in the production of nodular cast iron.

- You're discarding the entire genre because of the bullsh** lyrics some bands write. That just shows that you're an idiot and couldn't be bothered listening to metal properly. All metal bands members play an instrument, so they know something about music. Just because some singers are too inarticulate to write good lyrics doesn't mean they can't play guitar brilliantly. - There are so many! Classics are; Venom, Bathory, Celtic Frost. Norwegian; Emperor, Darkthrone, Mayhem, Immortal, Burzum, Urgehal, Carpathian Forest Gehenna. Swedish; Marduk, Dissection, Craft. Finnish; Horna, Sargeist, Behexen. Polish; Behemoth (early), Thunderbolt. These are the more well known bands. There are plenty of great underground bands - too many to mention here, but that should get you started. I've omitted bands like Dimmu Borgir and Cradle of Filth as everybody knows these and its debatable as to whether their music best reprsents the name Black Metal, however they have done alot in bringing the genre to main stream conciousness. - it depends on what you need to do with the sterile metal. while shoving it in flame does sterilize it, the spores remain. there is a reason why surgical equipment(mostly metal) is put in an autoclave i.e. put in boiling water under pressure (10-15 psi) for 15 mins. at home u can autoclave stuff by putting it in a pressure cooker for 20 mins.
