Properties:
Manganese is an important alloying agent. It is added to improve the strength, toughness, stiffness, hardness, wear resistance, and hardenability of steels. Together with aluminum and antimony, especially in the presence of copper, it forms highly ferromagnetic alloys. Manganese dioxide is used as a depolarizer in dry cells and as a decolorizing agent for glass that has been colored green due to iron impurities. The dioxide is also used in drying black paints and in the preparation of oxygen and chlorine. Manganese colors glass an amethyst color and is the coloring agent in natural amethyst. The permanganate is used as an oxidizing agent and is useful for qualitative analysis and in medicine. Manganese is an important trace element in nutrition, although exposure to the element is toxic in higher quantities.
Introduction
Electrolytic manganese metal flake is with silver gray metallic luster, hard and crisp, melting point 1245, boilling point 1962, with strong oxidation-reduction capacity. Specific gravity is 7.2. In comparison with metal manganese made by elctric warming, the electrogenerated mental manganese is of higher purity, superior quality and wider application.

- i think that metalcore was designed to make metal easy, that's why its sooooo mainstream and youngsters(but not me) are sooooo crazy about it(reasons include: easy to play/compose on instruments, fad, popularity of band members etc etc).....these stuff are NOT what a real metal musician or fan looks for. Metal was not meant to be easy! Metal was meant for the people who feel and understand every bit of their music down to their groins and not for people who just wanna look cool (i meant hardcore/metalcore/emo kids hehehe) and that's the main reason( i think) as to why poser bands called it metalcore...they wanna stick with metal guys, who are considered the gods of music/the cool guys inside and out, while they(metalcore) lazy away with all the metalcore music they make, contented with the fact that metal guys are pissing all over them everytime they do an album or a show..... can't they just call it core?

- Nu-metal was a bad time (still is)... Mostly, what killed it is the commercialization and subsequent softening of the genre. Any time it becomes fasion (sold at Hot Topic) it loses a bit of it's original sting. Each era has had it's downfall... the 80s had glam/hairspray/ballads... the 90s had angry nu-metal that didn't ever evolve... now we have pansy bands like Saliva, Puddle of Mud, Kid Rock, and whatever else, that have just tainted the heaviness into a bunch of crap. That's my answer. Also, I could have said that the death of metal happened when Metallica all cut their hair.
