I think the main reason that most metalheads dislike Hair Metal is because it's a lot less heavy than other Metal and gets more attention than it deserves. I can't say I disagree, but personally I enjoy Hair Metal because it's catchy, upbeat, and requires talent to play (listen to Mr. Big if you don't believe me.
