Component or the same series speakers.: Speakers labeled as 'component' speakers usually have a separate tweeter and woofer (ie. the tweeter is not mounted in the center of the cone). The generally do have some sort of cross over that comes with the package. Generally component sets are higher end then your typical 2way or 3 way speaker.
