Excavators are used in many ways:
Digging of trenches, holes, foundations
Material handling
Brush cutting with hydraulic attachments
Forestry work
Forestry mulching
Demolition
General grading/landscaping
Mining, especially, but not only open-pit mining
River dredging
Driving piles, in conjunction with a pile driver
Drilling shafts for footings and rock blasting, by use of an auger or

Hydraulic drill attachment

Hydraulic excavator capabilities have expanded far beyond excavation tasks with buckets. With the advent of hydraulic-powered attachments such as a breaker, a grapple or an auger, the excavator is frequently used in many applications other than excavation. Many excavators feature a quick coupler for simplified attachment mounting, increasing the machine's utilization on the jobsite. Excavators are usually employed together with loaders and bulldozers. Most wheeled, compact and some medium-sized (11 to 18-tonne) excavators have a backfill (or dozer) blade. This is a horizontal bulldozer-like blade attached to the undercarriage and is used for levelling and pushing removed material back into a hole.

Q:A giant excavator (used in road construction) can apply a maximum vertical force of 2.25×105 N. If it can vertically accelerate a load of dirt at 0.200 m/s2, what is the mass of that load in kg? Ignore the mass of the excavator itself.
mass = Force/acceleration Force = 2.25e5 N acceleration = 0.200 m/s? I refuse to believe that U need this calculated as U must have these skills to be in a course in physics

Q:I have a few questions about breeding Leos. And please don't answer anything like quot;Lol you shouldn't be breeding themquot; or stuff like that. I will down vote any of that stuff, and please no guesses either. I want answers from people with actual experience. So my first question is, how many eggs in a season do they lay?
In a 15 - 20 gallon tank you should be able to put about 2 - 3 geckos in there but you do not want to put 2 males or they will fight each other. As for the breeding if you are a beginner I would definitely wait and do some more research, talk to veterinarians or anything close to a herpetologist.
Q:LOL, who controlled the new hero excavator?
And no one made it. The new hero excavator is the full name of void lurker ray Alexis, she was a group leader, who is not manufacturing. Is she in the population size of thunder Alexis, the most violent temper. She is a ruthless predator who can dig tunnels in the ground to ambush and devour her prey. Her insatiable hunger has made the peak moment to Rama Empire over the ruins. Businessmen, traders and armed caravan will bypass 100, to avoid these vast areas of people, but cunning bandits will lure unwary into thunder killing of alexis. Once detected by ray, fate is doomed. There is no hope of escape; she is death from gravel.
Q:A few months ago we had some excavation work done by a licensed and insured excavator in our back yard near the well about 15 feet or so. He removed a lot of ledge and tree stumps and buried them to level yard. With in a week we got a terrible odor and bacteria. We have treated the well twice and the bacteria keeps returning w/ awful smells and our water tests are all over the place. We had great drinking water prior to work done. Because the bacteria has returned once again the well may be damaged and we are looking into that now. If the well is damaged does his insurance cover our damages? How do we find out???
His insurance will cover any damage HE CAUSED. It's up to you to find out what the problem is, and prove he caused it. His insurance isn't going to pay to investigate this, they'll pay to defend if you sue him, and the cause of loss is covered under his policy terms. But it sounds like you've got a dead animal in there. Which wouldn't be his fault.
Q:is an excavator operator required to have a crane ticket to do pipe laying in australia?
scroll down to the flag of the country you need and ask there...this is not OZ
Q:How much would it cost to rent a excavator for pulling up stumps per day ? On average
This will vary by area. I would try equipment rental places first. Then call landscaping and excavation companies. They might charge a flat rate or a delivery fee then hourly after.
Q:I highly doubt it. China is probably making most of it's own products and using them. So why must the U.S. import most of China's products? Just saw on the news a report on China's economy woes that stem directly from America's economy woes. It's suppose to be so bad for China manufactors right now, that they were quot;forced to close 450 companies there. Orders from the U.S. are said to be down 70%. That's a huge hit. They spoke with one company owner there who's considering just shutting down too. He's said to be losing quot;50 K a MONTHquot;. Just shows how much the U.S. is importing from China every day. So why can't the U.S. grow a brain and say hey, we should be putting our own people back to work by producing and using most of our goods right here in the U.S. . It happened centuries ago, why couldn't it happen now? Back then greed was rare in business, and most goods were made here. Now greed is the norm in business and just look at the mess that it has the country in.
The first thing to understand is China is a Communist country with a free trade zone in and around Hong Kong. Most of those factories are actually owned by the government, not the supervisors who you saw being interviewed. Most of the privately owned factories in the free trade zone are owned by British or American Captialist. China produces most of the raw materials they need. They have vast resources on the Asian Continent. What they don't produce themselves, they import from regions of the world where it is cheaper than importing from the U.S. The finished goods are then sold in the U.S. The US. American companies can maximize profits by importing Cheaply made Chinese goods instead of manufacturing the same goods in the USA where labor cost are higher. Greed was just as strong in the Robber Barons of the past as it is in the Capitalist of today. The reason the jobs were in America is because the USA had tariffs and other taxes on imported goods that made them cost the same as domestically produced goods. There was no advantage to importing goods over domestic production. Today's congress has repealed the tariffs and taxes to maximize the profits of the American Capitalist.
Q:What does an operating engineer do?Would their salary be the same as a regular nuclear engineer?I only wanted to get a bachelors degree and nuclear engineering looked the most interesting to me, but then I found out that with a bachelors in nuclear engineering you can only be an operating engineer..
Operating engineers operate heavy construction equipment such as cranes, bulldozers, pavers, trench excavators and many other kinds of equipment used for constructing buildings, dams, airports and highways. They also work in the sand and gravel, cement and asphalt industries; in the shipyards; on the water with dredges; oil refineries; oil pipelines; sewer and water construction; ports of major cities; municipal work with cities and counties; landscaping; scrap metal work; and the forest products industry. Operating engineer apprentices can also work in the mechanical field as heavy-duty truck and equipment mechanics and in the field of technical engineer (surveyor). Hope that helps, I'm really sorry I couldn't find any info on the salaries.
