Q: I'm 20 years old, and almost two years ago, I worked in construction for 6 months. It wasn't house construction or road construction, though. the company I was with was building a landfill and after the excavators dug out a large enough area and the bulldozers graded it, I and the other labourers were responsible for laying out filter cloth and other various jobs across the area.however, I would like to get a job as a laborer like those guys that work on the roads. Not buildings or the ones that use power tools and all that. How would I go about doing this? It's already August and logically, they'd have done their hiring for the season but is there any way I'd still be able to land a job? when I did work in this industry, it was in September and they were far behind schedule. Plus, I got the job because of my dad. This time, I wouldn't have that luxery.
Best thing to do... Go to the foreman's trailer or find the guy wearing the white hard hat and ask if they're hiring or if he knows anyone that is... That's how I got my job as a laborer during the summer when I was in high school.
Q: I want to consider digging a hole for the foundation of an addition with crawl space to my home. This hole would have to be at least 4 feet deep for the frost line and would have to be the perimeter of the addition so 40 or more feet depending on how big of an addition. My question is, what are my options for digging this monster hole?I know I can always do the shovel and pickax route. And I know I can rent a mini excavator for about $200 a day from stores. Does anyone have any other inexpensive ways or some creative ideas that I could use to make this job a little easier?
Find a local private party with a backhoe or bulldozer. He can do the job in a day. But what are you going to do with the dirt from the hole? Takes some planning to spread around that much dirt on the property, taking into account drainage and several other factors. if you want to grow something on it you will have to bring in topsoil. So figure 3 days for the bulldozer guy.
Q: Also, I noticed most job listings for them are temporary, how often must they relocate? Thanks
Field techs are basic archaeological excavators. They have to have a background in archaeology (usually a field school plus a bachelors degree), and they are the ones who dig test pits for surveys, excavate sites, sift dirt to collect artifacts, map sites, and so on. Field techs do the archaeology, but they are not the one in charge of the dig. People higher up work out the funding and contracts and permits, devise the plan for how and where to dig, do the background research (though field techs are sometimes involved in that), and write the final reports. The field techs are also usually the same people who wash, label, and catalog the artifacts in the lab. Field jobs are temporary. If you work for a company that has one job after another you might have the opportunity to keep working for them on a more permanent basis, but even then there will be times when there is no work and you are laid off. Lots of companies will just hire you for a short-term job and then lay you off, so you usually need to be in contact with multiple companies if you want to stay employed. I've worked field jobs that only lasted a couple days, but I've also been a field tech at a major site where I had permanent year-round work. Field tech jobs with CRM companies on average last only a matter of weeks, or sometimes a few months. Relocating somewhere new for each project generally only works if you know the job is longer term (though you still have to relocate after 6 months or a year or two), or if you are travelling around to short term jobs that pay a per diem. For example, a company may have jobs in multiple areas-- you go to those areas for a few weeks at a time and they pay your living expenses while you are there. Lots of companies only work in a specific region, however-- if you get with them, then you'll be commuting to different sites, but can at least have a permanent residence rather than relocating.
Q: Which brand is good for excavator?
Integrated cost performance, I will consider, machine, Wang Jiateng! High speed, good stability, low failure rate, low fuel consumption. Key secondary values are very high.
Q: how much does a cat 311 excavator weigh?
About 24 400 lbs?
Q: Do you have any proof of the ownership of the machine, like the car's pass?
Excavator is a production machinery, do not need to like the car registration for the same driving license, and its ownership certificate is mainly to buy (supply and marketing) contracts and invoices.Excavator, also called excavating machine, is a kind of earthmoving machine that uses bucket to excavate material that is higher than or lower than the machine surface and is loaded into transportation vehicle or unloaded to the stacker.Excavator users can also register the industry, access to special vehicle registration, registration should provide four kinds of documents and information:When the users of the excavator register, they shall provide the type inspection certificate issued by the state authorized quality inspection institution, the factory certificate, the instruction manual, and the supply and marketing contract.
Q: What is included in an amalgam tray setup in order from left to right?
This Site Might Help You. RE: What is included in an amalgam tray setup in order from left to right?
Q: We aren't looking for any fancy fence or tile or lights or a diving board (in fact we don't want lights or a diving board, and we were going to use a manual cover). So we would like to know how much all this would cost initially and how much it would cost to install. I live in Naperville IL., and help would be appreciated, thanks.
Initially? Well, you know the price of your kit already. You'll need a contractor to come in to give you an estimate. Sorry, but all backyards are different. The contractor may have to go to a smaller excavator for access ( which takes longer to dig and drives up the price), he may even have to hire a crane to get the excavator in and out of a difficult backyard, the pool you want may not even be possilbe and stay within your municipal bylaws too. The contractor will know all this and they'll usually give you a free quote. There are just too many variables to answer this accurately without seeing it and knowing your own local codes. I can give you a ball park starting figure for the whole shebang. Expect a cost starting of at least 23 grand and it only goes up from there.
Q: Just looking for a good long list so I can organize an itemized bid to compare to the general contractor's base s.f. price. Be as inclusive as you can. Thanks guys.
Well, you need: architect electrician carpenter plumber surveyor painter floor installer, carpet, tile, stone, etc drywall installer/ finisher roofer Plus all of the inspections needed, state, city, county, any needed for insurance purposes. Depending on the style and your requests, there can be many, many other specialty contractors as well.
Q: Can anyone help me with a circuit diagram for the ECU in a Hitachi tracked excavator/digger model EX100-5. Or does anyone know of any online forums where I could get any information at all? I'd appreciate it if you could help me.
I type this out 3 and 4 times a day, I wish people would write it down. You can pull up your vehicle and print out what ever you want to repair.
