Q:Hi, recently been give a Venom recharge station for my birthday to charge my Wiimotes, however, when the batteries are removed and the replaced with the rechargeable packs they lose Sync with the Wii, I can't Sync using the red button as when I remove the backplate, the battery packs come away with them and there is no hole in the pack to give me access to the button with the packs on. ARRRRRGGGH! Any help out there?
I Suggest u just switch the batteries from a tv remote sync it then put the battery pack in. Or u can try to stick a safety pin. But once you sync it u can take the batteries out and change them and it will still be synced
Q:I have a Dewalt battery pack (DW0242) for a sawsall that I want to rebuild/convert from nicd to nimh.
I doubt it. You would need to modify the device and charger to work with the battery.
Q:here are the two links that will help you
The plane clearly states that it requires a 1000mAh 9.6v battery pack. It does not describe what type of battery connector is used, so you are going to be taking a chance any way you go. The batteries they list as 'customers also bought' are 7.4v packs, and 7.4v will not work well with this plane at all. Contact the seller. Here is their contact page: rc-hobbies .uk/contact_us.p Find out which batter is the right spare battery. That way, there will be no guess work. Good luck!
Q:Hi. I accidentally used the wrong charger on my sony np-bn1 lithium ion battery for about, say, 30 minutes, and then realized I was using the wrong one, switched to the right one.A few hours passed, and now i have a problem where if i put it in my camera, it'll stay on for 5 seconds, and then say For use with compatible battery only.Plz help.
I'm afraid you cooked it. Be more careful with your next battery - there's no fixing this one.
Q:hey guys i was changing my Xbox controllers batteries and i got up pull the case for my batters out and it slipped out my had and flew on the floor it broke into two pieces and it still works but it wont stay stuck together in my controller the the battery pack that is and it is not a plug and play it is just a regular battery pack you put batteries in. anyway i can make them stay together
if you have a play and charge kit just leave it plugged in without any batteries
Q:UPS and machine sharing the hazards of the battery pack.
Theoretically not a problem, that is, the discharge time is short twice.
Q:I just purchased a 2004 honda civic hybrid that had set for 4-6 months. It needed a transmission. I got a transmission for it and got it going but now it sets p1433 battery deterioration. Ive only driven it once for about 3 miles. If i continue to drive it will it recharge itself? Just curious if its just low because of it setting for so long.
Maybe. The Honda IMA batteries are not the most dependable things, and changes Honda made to the battery usage profiles to improve battery life made the fuel economy drop so much there was a class action suit against Honda that was only recently settled. I am not surprised the battery system is out of whack after sitting that long, though. Within a week or two you will know whether it is serious about it or not.
Q:I have multiple electronic devices with Lithium Ion batteries: iPod, GPS, Nintendo DS Lite, etc. What is the best strategy to increase the life of my batteries (especially for the iPod, which is a pain to replace!)?For example, should I:- use the device until almost-completely empty, then recharge it full;- keep it on the charge when not in use;- recharge it once in a while, even if not empty;- etc.I've read in the DS Lite user's guide that the battery has roughly a life of 500 recharges. Is there a way to increase this; or is there something that I should NOT do to avoid reducing this? Thanks!
Oh. Any thing via rechargeable batteries should be maintained properly. Well, personally, I do these: (1) I never used them till the battery die down to a level the device will shut down (2) For my laptop, I quickly recharge the battery as soon as the battery indicator shows a level of not lower than 30% If you can, try opting for devices that comes without built-in batteries. External rechargeable batteries tend to have better life, and the good is that when recharging, it won't burnt the components within the devices. BTW if you keep these items for some time, be sure to charge up once every 1 month if you store it and left it unused. Else you could possibly kill the cells of the battery if it keeps on being idle for some time.
Q:as far as dimensions go, is the 12 cell battery bigger than the 6 cell or does size not matter? What is the difference- 12 cell last longer when charged up? thxI plan on buying one for my Sony laptop (PCG-3B4L) and want to make sure it fits. DC 19.5 V, 11.1 v 4400mAhBattery-VGP-BPS13/S
Don't buy batteries unless its specifically made for your laptop model. Go to a sony showroom first and check. That way once its confirmed then only think about buying. Unless its a reputable generic brand they will be using low quality elements which will not hold its charge as well as premium batteries. 12 cell batteries last much longer then 6 cell. But it won't be 2x longer but maybe 1.5. Yes size matters.
Q:Can your Xbox controller recharge from the xbox controller power cable if you put regular rechargeable AA batteries in a standard battery pack instead of buying the designated Xbox rechargeable battery pack? If it's possible, I thought it could be a way I could save money.
you could just buy a battery recharger
