- You can press the silver, spherical button with the Xbox logo in the center of the controller and select the option on-screen to turn off the controller.
- Q: I currently need one, so any help would be appreciated.
- You can get rechargeable battery pack and a compact charger at Wal-Mart or almost any big stores. The brand you are looking for is Energizer.
- Q: I am looking at Remote Control car battery packs and was wondering if one was better than the other? Does one make your RC go faster, perform better?
- theres 1000 more in the other one. its better
- Q: DUE TONIGHT PLEASE HELPA 90 kg astronaut floating out in space is carrying a 1.0 kg TV camera and a 10 kg battery pack. He's drifting toward his ship but, in order to get back faster, he hurls the camera out into space (away from the space ship) at 18 m/s and then throws the battery at 11 m/s in the same direction. What's the resulting increase in his speed after each throw?speed increase after discarding camera.?speed increase after discarding battery?
- The key here is to remember that momentum is conserved. Momentum is mass times velocity. Are you sure you've got the masses right, surely the TV camera is heavier than the battery pack? Since (relative to each other), neither astronaut, nor camera nor battery is moving, the total momentum can be taken to be zero. So after throwing the camera away, the total momentum should be zero m/s. That means the astronaut should have equal momentum in magnitude, but opposite in direction, to the camera. Let's take the direction the camera was thrown in to be negative. Then the momentum of the camera after it is released is (1.0 kg)(-18 m/s) -18 kg m/s. So the momentum after discarding the camera must be 18 kg m/s. Dividing by the mass of the astronaut (plus battery pack, as he's still got it at this point), which is 100 kg, gives an increase in speed of 0.18 m/s. Now we do the same thing with the battery pack. Since, relative to each other, neither are moving, we can say that the total momentum before releasing it is zero, so the total momentum after releasing it must be zero also. The momentum of the battery pack, since it is thrown in the negative direction also, is (10 kg)(-11 m/s) -110 kg m/s. Therefore the total momentum of the astronaut must increase by 110 kg m/s also, and dividing by the mass of the astronaut (90 kg) gives a speed increase of 1.22 m/s.
- Q: I have a d-boys m4 and it came with a 9.4 volt 1100 battery . my question is that can Get a better battery to work in my gun that will raise the shots per minute and possibly the fps mainly the shots per minute without messing up my gun. Thank You All Very Much (P.S.) my gun has a battery box and if possible could you give me a link

- Q: i spent so much buying rechargeable batteries for my player (4 pcs size AA). i cannot wait charging the batteries especially when i am on the go. i want a portable battery pack which i can take along when i go out. my player requires only 9v. playing video at long hours easily consumes the charge that's why i am looking for a battery pack which lasts longer.
- Battery packs are usually built in but an adapter to work on 120vac or 12vdc just plug in. You can DIY a battery pack to work at the adapter plug in.
- Q: And for how long? The continuous power consumption is 12v at 2 amps.
- Your batteries will have to be in SERIES to get the 12 volts. 1.2 volts each X 10 12 volts @ 2 Ahr or 2000 milliamp hours (mah). So in theory, one hour. Reality is that the cells will not actually produce 2 amps for 1 hour without the voltage dropping off. So a rating of about 10% of the capacity is recommended. Your battery pack would work for 5 to 10 minutes before draining them down at 2 amps and would get very hot in the process! Switching to a 12V gel cell or 10 D batteries would be better.
- Q: I have a device that used an internal, rechargeable 12v battery pack. Since the device is no longer needed, I was thinking of taking out the battery pack and using that to power other devices. And recharging it with a solar panel.Since the battery pack isn't a single 12v battery, but made up of ten 1.2v batteries connected in series, I am not sure if I would need to connect 12v solar panel to it through a charge controller. I have a 12v charge controller, but since each battery in the pack is 1.2v, would the regulator automatically adjust so the individual batteries arent overcharged or may explode?I also have 2 side questions for you.(a) To make my own battery pack, what would I use to melt the PVC shrinkwrap so it would fit snuggly around the batteries?(b) And if I wanted to solder the tips of each battery, would using a solder iron cause the battery I'm soldering the wire to to explode?
- You would need some type of charge controller since it is very unlikely that you can find a solar panel that has the exactly correct voltage output. In addition, NiCad and NiMH batteries should not be over charged. You're not going to find an off-the-shelf charge controller that will balance individual 1.2 volt cells. Most consumer grade devices that run on small rechargeable batteries don't provide that feature anyway. For question (a), a heat gun is used. They look like traditional hair blow dryers, but are much hotter, with the temperature controlled by a dial. For question (b), no, a standard soldering iron isn't going to cause a battery to explode. However, the metal for the batteries usually cannot be soldered. When battery packs are made the tabs and other connectors are attached using an electric spot welder. If you can get tabbed batteries, that would be the way to go.
- Q: I will have the battery hooked to the receiver through an ESC, but will it still be too much voltage for the receiver to handle? The receiver is a Spektrum AR-500.
- If you don't want it to work, you could do that.
- Q: Hello, does anyone know where I can find a rechargeable battery pack for electronic devices? Maybe something like a large brick that I can take with me and plug a guitar amp into? Or anything else, for that matter
- If you don't mind lugging something heavy around, get a deep cycle automotive battery, preferably a sealed spill-proof type. Then get an AC inverter that puts out enough current to power your amp. A 500w inverter is enough for a 100w tube amp. To recharge, use any car battery charger. If you want to downsize that a bit, search yahoo shopping for a NiMh 12v battery pack. You will have to get a specialized charger, though. A car charger will destroy a NiMh pack.
