Unless it is running Symbian, Windows Mobile or PalmOS, you can't install an anti-virus program on it and you don't have to, either - there are neither viruses, nor anti-virus programs for the phones running proprietary operating systems. Even if it is running one of the three operating systems mentioned above, unless it is Symbian S60 R2, the threat is negligible - there are only a couple of malicious programs for the other operating systems (or even brands of Symbian) and the probability of your phone getting infected is virtually nil. Still, many anti-virus producers will gladly sell you an anti-virus program for Windows Mobile, PalmOS, Symbian UIQ or Symbian S60 R3 - despite that you don't really need one. Now, if your phone is running Symbian S60 R2, you really need an anti-virus program for it - there are hundreds of malicious programs (viruses and Trojan horses) for this environment. However, there is no free such program that is sufficiently good. So, you'll have to decide what is more important - price or quality. If the program being free is the most important criterion, try Calvin Stinger (first of the links below). If the program being good is more important to you, then try F-Secure's anti-virus program (the second link below).
