Q:im am in this plan thing at a mobileshop where i keep a mobilephone for like 4 years and then i can upgrade to a similarly priced phone for free, any way i brought a nokia n95 (at about $800 - $900) (i can also put money towards it as well when upgrading) and i was wondering what mobile phone i should get, i was thinking of either an iphone 4 or a htc 7
HTC HD7 Windows Phone (T-Mobile) - The phone is incredibly quick booting. - The UI is beautiful and so smooth to use in comparison to other smartphones. - The build quality is solid and it feels like a good phone in your hand with the metal surround instead of cheap plastic. - The apps already on the store are of good quality and run very well on the phone, expecting a load more on the US release. - Skydrive integration with the Office Hub and your photo's is very useful allowing super quick upload to the cloud. - The one touch camera launch from the lock screen is very handy the flash is super bright with double LED. --------------------------------------
Q:I'm eligible for an upgrade, and I would like to know your opinions on whether I should get the G2, or MyTouch 4G. Before anyone answers, yes I am aware T-Mobile (like many other carriers) may not be as strong in your area, as it is in mine. I'm not looking for any comments about T-Mobile, or how the IPhone is so much better than any of them etcI'm seeking what owners have found as Pro's Con's of each type of phone. Like what's the difference between G2's Stock Android, and MyTouch's adaptation of it. If you are a current owner of either of these phones, you're experiences be they positive or negative. Would be great to read to help me make a choice. Thanks!
I don't live in the US so I don't really know how bad T-Mobile is. I haven't heard of the MyTouch 4G, but I have heard of the G2 (but known as the HTC Desire Z outside of US). I've heard good thigns about the G2, it's a pretty good phone, there aren't really much of a problem with it. The only flaw that some people have reported is that while sliding out the keyboard, the wire that connects the screen to the actual phone becomes exposed and it looks fragile like it would break at some point (the wire is important because if it becomes detached the screen will not work). Although, no one has reported an incident with it. So you should be fine with it. The good thing about it is that it runs on Stock Android meaning that you can update as soon as Google releases a new version of Android. HTC phones are pretty good in terms of quality and I know people with HTC phones so, I'd recommend it.
Q:I want to get a phone from t-mobile that has an internet were i can do myspace and stuff like that, listen to music with headphones, and a way where i can watch movies on my phone?
wow not one person suggested the BB curve. you can do ALL those things. i have one. best freaken phone ever p.s I work for T-Mobile customer care
Q:how is mobile phone modelled
The mobile phone is a radio transciever just like a walkie talkie. The only difference is that it is duplexed (meaining you don't have to push a button to talk) it is using a reserved fequency and is communicating (for the most part) digitally with data packets instead of a broadcast analog signal. When you place a call, your phone sends a signal to the tower asking for permission to connect to the cellular network. The tower assigns your phone (if you are a subscriber in its database, that is) a frequency and time slot to send it's data packets on. The time slots rotate very fast; many times per second. And as you talk, your phone records what you say, turns it into a digital data packet and when the time slot is right, it fires the packet to the cell tower. The cell tower then sends the data packet down a T1 line or over a microwave link to a switch which then sends the data packet to another cell tower and to the person on the other mobile phone. The other person's mobile phone receives the data packet and plays the data back as an audio sound. Needless to say that all this is happening so fast that we are usually inable to detect it with our ears. But on occasion when you get in a place with bad coverage and your connection sounds choppy, what you are hearing are data packets that have gotten lost somehow. I hope that is not too technical. I tried to keep it in layman's language.
Q:i have an i855 boost mobile phone
The Boost Mobile Phone i855 does not have bluetooth built into the phone. For this reason you will not be able to use any bluetooth earpiece with your phone. In order to use bluetooth earpieces, any phone must have a built in bluetooth feature. Your boost mobile phone i855 does have a built in speakerphone that is hands free meaning you don't have to hold the phone when talking.
Q:how i can bye a mobile phone in Bangkok ?And I want sites to check prices
You can buy mobile phones everywhere in Thailand as calling is Thai girls addiction number one. Best deals are usally in the small phoneshops you find in the basement or topfloor of any shoppingmall, you can demand a discount, the beter shops they discount, or just look for another one. Usually there are 10s of small phoneshops in row. I warn you don't buy a second hand, they usually have hidden trouble or al least they just changed the battery for a fake one. Nokia is ofcourse the best buy, especially for messaging. If you call international check for the best prefix like 001, 008, 009 to call with a reduced price. Prepaid cards you buy everywhere really. 7-Eleven for example. 12Call and DTAC are the only good providers with national coverage. If you buy a simple GPRS phone like the Nokia 3310 (3.000 bath) you can check your emails as well, (best with yahoo and Gmail) and chat with all your MSN, Yahoo, Gmail contacts if you download eBuddy. Internet cost you around 60 bath for 6 hours, or 1000 bath full time for a month, you need to register GPRS credits at a phoneshop, best are the providers shops, AIS (12call) or DTAC, also in every shoppingmall. PS you can also use your non-Thai phone here by just changing the SIM card.
Q:I would like to get my mom a prepaid cell phone for emergencies. I have an old Boost mobile phone, does anyone know if that cab be re-activated? Or, should I just get a new phone from somebody else?
Yes you can reactivate your old Boost Mobile phone. However when you call Boost Customer Care they will ask for your sim card number and phone model number. There will be a extra $10 activation fee to reinstate service since the phone and sim card has previously been activated and cancel. Just let them know that you are giving this cell to your mother. You need to purchase a Boost Re-fill card at any retail store before you re-activate with Boost Mobile again.
Q:I searched for T-mobile stores and it showed me Target so I'm guessing they sell them? Also, would I need some special documents or anything like that when buying a new phone? The contract is in my moms name, but I'll be going alone to buy it (I'm 19). Would it be just pay and go or do they need any information?
Yes Target does sell T-Mobile service with contracts and without contract (Prepaid). However they don't have a lot of phone selection. Your best bet would be at a T-Mobile store. If you want to activate your own line with a contract at Target then you would have to show them a driver license. They will do a credit check before activation. If you mother is the primary person and holder on the T-Mobile account then it is unlikely Target will sell you the phone and have it activated. The primary person needs to be present when they activate the 2nd line to the account. On prepaid phones with T-Mobile at Target you don't need to show any identification and you can purchase the prepaid phones there as well.
Q:i wanted to purchase a tmobile phone that has what i want:-doing alot on wifi (calls, internet, etc.)-has a music player (prefferably with micro sd slot)-wide range app store-fast, not laggy, easy, navigation and interface-screen size like the size of an iphone, maybe 3??optional; double sided camerathanks for the help! :)
All T-Mobile phones are ridiculously slow and lag, not to be negative lol just honest. There isn't one phone I would recommend on the T-Mobile network as a very displeased T-Mobile costumer who has gone through MANY phones. I would recommend a Samsung Galaxy s3 on Sprint, or an iPhone 4s on Verizon as your best options.
Q:I am wondering if Boost mobile phones are traceable caues my car may be repossessed soon and I wanted to know if they can trace where i am through my cell. Help please?
Boost mobiles phones are not traceable but there is a software that you can download and subscribe on Boost Mobile network where you and your friends can know whether each person is located if you have to be a public place and want to meet with each other. Another thing is no one can trace your whereabouts without your consent and authorization. The only way for a company or law enforcement to know your whereabouts through a cell phone is for them to have a court madandated supeona to the cell phone company ordering them to located you through your cell phone by locating your position on the closest cell towers.
