- Q: can you tell me a specification ,services and frequencies of mobile computing based on this product based on 3g mobile phone
- It is a dilemma in some ways. The fewer the features, the longer the battery life. The really high end phones have less life than the more basic phones. My BlackBerry Storm, which is a fantastic phone, has far less life than my previous BlackBerry Pearl - the Pearl would last four to five days, the Storm barely two. Doing things like reducing the backlight level, keeping Bluetooth off unless needed, not playing games or music etc., can extend it, but really the simplest thing to do is buy a second battery. I bought a second battery for emergency use and rotate it every week or two, plus when I am in the office I plug it into a Amzer docking cradle which also charges my spare battery.
- Q: i wanted to know how refurbished T-Mobile phones are. How they're wear and tear comes and if they have any problems with signals or buttons or anything like that. I was looking at the Samsung Vibrant in the refurbished form and also the HTC mytouch 3G slide! if anyone has any information i would love that! thank you soo much reading! :)
- Ugh! I HIGHLY do not recommend a refurbished phone. Especially from Samsung. I had a Samsung T-Mobile phone, and it lasted me a little over a year. My insurance sent me a refurbished one, and that one didn't even last me two months. Never again will I ever get anything refurbished. It was such a pain!
- Q: I need to call the mobile phone in China(Shenzen city) but I don't know how to call mobile phone in all china I don't know the china mobile phone code no: please help me. Thanks in Advance.
- now i am in shenzhen china now , just as people said putting the chinese country code +86 before the number u want to dial , it;s very convenient ! but one thing i want to mention here is that if u contact someone with the international call ,the cost would be high , so the programme Skype is the best choice at this time ,which is only less than 0.2 RMB(about 0.02 dollar) Per minute , especially when u need to contact your friends overseas frequently !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- Q: I was just wondering, If i bought a G1 (ATT Subscriber) without contract and just unlock it through the web service for $24 will I be able to use it? Or do I first need a T Mobile sim to activate the phone?I am confused by the last question there, so please help.
- You need a T-Mobile account and data plan just to set the phone up initially. I have one, so I've done it. When you first fire up the phone, it expects to find a T-Mobile sim with an active data plan, and you have to set up Google access with either an existing account or a new account set up on the phone. Once you do that, I understand you can unlock the phone and use it with other GSM systems (like ATT), but there are a couple of caveats: 1. You won't be able to use the T-Mobile data network, even with a ATT data plan. 2. You can allegedly tweak the phone to use the ATT data network, but you still have to have a data plan to do so. 3. You won't have any 3G access on ATT or T-Mobile's network. It will work with the edge network, but since the phoen si a 3G phone, you lost the advantage of that higher speed network. To me, doing it this way is no advantage. Even though ATT has better 3G coverage (currently), T-Mobile is rapidly rolling theirs out, and it is available in many major cities. I have it where I work in DC, but not where I live yet in Jacksonville, Florida, but the edge network works there really well. I know you have an ATT plan, but if your contract is up or close to it, I'd switch. I'm very happy with T-Mobile (been with them many years) and the G1 is an excellent phone.
- Q: I know there's that online service which help you send free text messages to mobile phones. it's like you choose the service of the recipient write down the number and the message then you send it.does anyone know a good site or link to send texts online? please help with that.
- yahoo messenger does them The SMS feature lets you send text messages to your friends' mobile phones right from Yahoo! Messenger. Just type in a friend's mobile phone number, compose your message like you would a regular instant message, then hit Send. Your friend will receive your text message on their phone, and their replies come back to you in Yahoo! Messenger. It's free to send SMS messages from Yahoo! Messenger to your friends (and to receive their replies). However, your friends may incur data charges from their mobile carrier for receiving and replying to your messages.
- Q: im am in this plan thing at a mobileshop where i keep a mobilephone for like 4 years and then i can upgrade to a similarly priced phone for free, any way i brought a nokia n95 (at about $800 - $900) (i can also put money towards it as well when upgrading) and i was wondering what mobile phone i should get, i was thinking of either an iphone 4 or a htc 7
- HTC HD7 Windows Phone (T-Mobile) - The phone is incredibly quick booting. - The UI is beautiful and so smooth to use in comparison to other smartphones. - The build quality is solid and it feels like a good phone in your hand with the metal surround instead of cheap plastic. - The apps already on the store are of good quality and run very well on the phone, expecting a load more on the US release. - Skydrive integration with the Office Hub and your photo's is very useful allowing super quick upload to the cloud. - The one touch camera launch from the lock screen is very handy the flash is super bright with double LED. --------------------------------------
- Q: I was wondering if you also could use a japanese mobile phone outside Japan? And I mean that someone from Japan comes in Europe and wants to call his family in Japan or something. Would it be possible to call with his mobile phone?Another thing:I got the fact about Japanese people sending each other emails rather than sms cuz it wouldn't fit with the kanji and such. But now I was wondering, what if they have like a friend from England who isn't able to send or receive email with his phone? Can the japanese guy that choose to sms him? I mean with the kanji it wouldn't matter because they'll have to communicate in English. Just wondering if the japanese people still use the sms function. Also if they send someone an email with their phone, is that person than able to see that email on his mobile phone AND on the computer? Or is the email address someone has on his phone completely different than the email address he had on his computer? So many questions ^^ Please give me loads of answers :)Thanks!
- I was wondering if you also could use a japanese mobile phone outside Japan? You need to be more specific. If he comes to Europe temporarily, and still has a contract with Japanese carrier, he must have a cell phone with global roaming service. If there is a global roaming service, he can. cuz it wouldn't fit with the kanji and such. It's not a matter of kanji. Japanese cell phones are designed to exchange emails, no matter if it's alphabets or kanji. Can the japanese guy that choose to sms him? It depends on which phone he's using. There is no single answer. The bottom line is, he can do it with some phones. is that person than able to see that email on his mobile phone AND on the computer? Usually, no. Email address of cell phone is usually different from that of computer. But you can forward it to your computer, as you know.
- Q: I picked up a phone at the store and the address on my card I used to pay for my plan is in Florida (850) so it put me in that service area. I can't use my phone without having to pay roaming charges. Is there a way to change my number online? If not, how do I cancel my account without losing my first month's payment?(Virgin Mobile's online support is a joke and I'm not waiting an hour and a half again to just to be told to call back later again)
- Well I have virgin mobile and to change your area code or full number is free and must be done over the phone with a different phone, also there are no roaming charges for virgin. If you are in a different state it works the same (been there done that) there are no charges for anything you do not add to your phone and NO you can't get your money back unless you have not used any minutes on the phone, I just went through this last month but I didn't use any minutes and was refunded. Virgin mobile is not like most pay as you go phones there is no roaming fee and you can't do anything if you do not have money to pay for it in your top-up. Just call VM or keep the number. Good Luck!
- Q: A mobile phone company sent me a bill of a contract phone without discussing that contract with me or even discussing the price plan with me and wreorst of all not even sendind me a phone.I refused to pay the bill after contacting them. They explained they ASSUMED i will like it because they had contacted me on phone to discuss the contract and unfortunately i was busy and promised to contact them and i did not.I think that it is the customer who should decide on a price plan or whether he/she wants the contract. My problem is that i have been taken to a debt collector and i was threatened by them to idea pay it or have a bad credit history.I paid immediately and yet still they went ahead and took the decision to give me a bad credit rating. What should i do?
- I think it was a bad idea to pay them because by you paying them that's giving them the okay that you said yes to the contract and everything that comes along with it. But in the mean time call them back, (be very firm) telling them that you never agreed to the terms of the contract and, if need be tell them that your lawyer will be contacting them (make it sound real good.) Then see what happens then. Good luck because they may brush it off because you've already paid
- Q: Can they do that while the mobile is off? How's that anyway?
- yes!
