FAQ

1.    For Polished Porcelain Tile, is the 30*60 available?

—— Yes, 30*60 is available. Due to the basic size is 60*60, we need to cut 60*60 tile into 30*60. 6 pcs are packed into one carton.

2.    What is the MOQ for this tile?

—— Normally the MOQ is 1267.2  m2 for one 20’ container. To support our clients, we could go with 3 models to fill one container at most.

Q: My husband ( yes...the one with the dents in his head from the cooker hood ) is fixing rustic tiles in my kitchen. He has done loads of tiling with plain tiles ( i.e straight edges!!) but we're wondering about spacing these with irregular edges. Very little advice on the web apart from to space them more widely which doesn't really help! Anyone done this and pleased with the result?
The easiest way is to average the widths, and do you lay out from there. So, if the 3 tiles, on average covers 18 (with grout joints) then you can get a very good idea of what the lay out should be. Hope this helps.
Q: Glass glue and tiles
If it is a single tube of glue gun can be universal, but if there is no way to guns.
Q: Theres only a doorway no door separating my bedroom to my bathroom? Should I finish it with the Wood flooring or go with a ceramic tile?
I would suggest Tile. I honestly do not think that Wood is the best choice because there will be a lot of water on the floor most of the time so it could harm the floors.
Q: I want to install hardwood in all my house, except bathrooms.I currently have ceramic tile flooring. I know removing it and installing solid hardwood will be expensive. Can I install floaring hardwood over the ceramic tile?? I went to Lowe‘s, and the flooring assistant recommended me to to that. With the correct underlayment should be not trouble at all.Have you install it that way?? WHAT IS YOUR PERSONAL EXPERIENCE??
Removing tile isnt all that hard, or expensive. It just takes some muscle. A good sturdy floor scraper willl pop most of the tile and grout loose, once you get a few tiles up. Once you get some space to move your scraper, they will start popping off. The toughest part will be removing the tile adhesive, depending on what was used, but not a major problem. The flooring assistant will be happy to sell you all sorts of pieces to a flooring sytem. You really dont need it. The fewer things you have under your wood floor, the better. The fewer things to go wrong down the road. Wood flooring, being tongue and groove, is hard to remove and replace if you have a problem with whatever is under it.
Q: My husband and I bought a house where most of the rooms (kitchen, dining room, entertainment room, den, and laundry room) are all tiled with these Terra cotta like tiles. They are a southern type rusty red and stain easily. My husband loves the tiles and wants to keep them. He‘s concented on changing the color if I want though, as long as I keep the origional tile. I‘m trying to make the house look a bit more elegant/country (Blues, silvers, whites, golds, dark greens, etc. Elegant and formal but still bright and airy) While keeping the tile, is there any way to stain it another color and do some kind of glossy seal? What color might keep that feel? What kind of products work best?
Painting the tile is a horrible idea, Your husband doesn't love the tile he loves the money hes not spending. Do it right or don't do it at all, if you paint the tile you will have created a real downer at the time of resale, that will have to be given an allowance to replace Carpet, area rugs or replace it
Q: Just moved into a house with tile floors, I have fiber mopped, stick-vac‘d, wet mopped them and they still feel gritty on my bare feet. Anyone have any suggestions or will they always feel dirty?
The tiles are probably anti slip so they will naturally feel a bit rough to your bare feet. Also, if the tiles are brand new then it will take a while for you to sweep and mop away the dust left from the tile glue and grouting. The best way I've found to remove this fine grit from tiles is, unfortunately, to get down on your hands and knees with a dish sponge and a bucket of hot soapy water and physically scrub them - at least twice, more likely 3 or 4 times.
Q: Earlier I asked, How to find a good tile? This is what I meant
Some general guidelines , but don t pay strict attention to is thickness, maker of the tile body of the tile, and price.. Some major brands include, American Olean, Florida Tile, Dal Tile,Interceamic,Lauflen. There are more out there but these will give you a start. Look through their selection on line to get some ideas and each site will have a store locator to find a dealer near you. If this floor will be in a high traffic area and you want easy maintenance, stick with ceramics and porcelains. Natural stones like marbles and travertines look great but must be sealed before installation, after installation and every so often after. In a residential setting regular ceramics wil work fine, porcelains are very nice but over sold by salespeople that really don t know.Theres nothing wrong with them just don t go looking for only them. Installation (on average) is in the 4/5$ a s/f range. This may or may not include floor prep such as the PROPER (thickness) backer board needed in most residential settings. This price won t include any rip out or floor prep if needed.. If you have any questions or want more info, e mail me through my avatar and check my qualifications there... GL
Q: We live in Phoenix and have a tile roof; most likely concrete tile. One of the tile on the lower level roof has somehow gone missing and I am trying to find one to replace it with. I don‘t think HD and Lowes sell roof tiles and I have tried to look up in yellow pages and am only finding roofing contractors. Where do you think I can just go and buy one tile. I won‘t need an installer as I can do it myself as it is on the lower level roof that I can access with a small ladder. Also tile is the one at the bottom so I won‘t need to climb up on the roof either :) Only logical suggestions are appreciated.
HI, H.D. OR LOEWES MAY HAVE THEM . IF NOT, CHECK OTHER HARDWARE STORES OR ASK A CNTRACTOR OR ROOFER WHO USES THOSE TILES. A BUILDING SUPPLY CO, NOT H.D. OR LOEWES WOULD HAVE THEM FOR SURE.
Q: I see Dongpeng ceramic tile on the packaging that write what the site, and then write the OF, OB what, I now Tangshan life, we say now Tangshan Dongpeng brick are Shandong, is that right?
May be, from the near the possibility of great, we northwest of Shandong brick more.
