- Q: The back of my jacket has a double pleat (like an invisible expansion) that has folded open on one side. I‘m trying to figure out how to make it lie flat again. An iron? OR?
- You can go to tandy leather and use an ax all to use a specialilized needle and thread. I have a jacket 28 years old from JC Whitney with a lot of patches (leather and pre fab) that still is bad to the bone. Learn some leather craft or have a friend or have it done by someone familiar with leather work,
- Q: what would happen if u didn‘t have enough iron?would your periods stop or would they just be really heavy?what would happen if u had too much iron?
- Iron doesn't effect your period directly, but it DOES help to prevent anemia (low blood-iron). When you have really heavy periods, it is recommended that you take an iron supplement to help stave off this possibility. The effects of iron deficiency vary from mild to severe, with the number one complaint being fatigue, tiredness, lethargy, lightheadedness/dizziness, and fainting. The other extreme - too much iron in the blood - can lead to diabetes, arthritis, heart failure, cirrhosis of the liver, and even liver cancer
- Q: What is chelated iron and how does it differ from the regular iron pills at the supermarket? Is it safe for anyone to take? I noticed the chelated iron is only sold at the health food store. Is chelated iron safe for someone with a very sensitive digestive system to take?
- Lol. My speculation is this. Most people that have cars that break down a lot are the ones that can't afford the nicer cars. Maybe most of them work more labor-intensive jobs and happen to have a undershirt on?
- Q: I suffer from mild anemia, and I‘ve noticed that since I‘ve started taking iron supplements, my bowel movements have been darker than usual. The frequency of my.washroom visits :D is still constant, but I‘m wondering if I should be concerned about the slight change in colour. Any opinions?
- This is normal. When I got iron for my prenatal vitamins, the pharmacist told me about this and yes, when I would go to the bathroom, it would be darker than usual.
- Q: Are iron supplements taken from animals?
- I do not have remote.how can I turn off alarm
- Q: Im doing an assignment on electric irons and i want to know the history of them. Thanks!
- Humans have used heated heavy pans and various other means to smooth fabric as far back as 1 BC in China. Over the centuries solid irons heated over another hear source and others with chambers for charcoal to keep the iron hot were used . The invention of the electric iron in 1882 is credited to Henry W. Seely of New York, and the first thermostatically controlled electric iron appeared in the 1920s. Later, steam was used to iron clothing. Thomas Sears is given credit for the invention of the steam iron. Not to be confused with Sears of Sears Roebuck fame. The invention of permanent press fabrics promised a world free of the drudgery of ironing, but in the real world and even with introduction of twenty first century steamers and other means of pressing fabric, the iron has never been put out of use.
- Q: wat kinds of foods or friuts are packed with iron?
- Spinach is definitely a good way to go. Raw is the best way of course. Pumpkin Seeds are also packed with iron, you can find them salted and roasted. Also, broccoli.
- Q: Who would win and why?I‘ll say Luke Cage and Iron Fist.
- Captain America and Iron Man. Cap would hold off Iron Fist while Iron Man bombards Luke Cage with all he's got. If a shotgun blast can put him in the hospital, just think of what Iron Man's blasters and missiles could do to him. Captain America would probably end up losing to Iron Fist, but by the end of the fight, Iron Fist would be badly beaten, and Iron Man could easily finish him off.
- Q: Doing a science lab, I need some common house products that contain Iron, not iron as in mineral, iron as in a element.
- Look for red stuff. You would be surprised how many different red things get their redness from iron oxide.
