There is no place to adjust for individual items on a appraisal like flooring in the sales comparison approach. The appraiser can adjust for condition, age, effective age, quality of construction and they fall in to poor, fair, average, good and very good. One issue would be who wants a home will all tile flooring. The only place on an appraisal to adjust for flooring would be the cost approach and if the home is older than 5 years, no one puts any weight on the cost approach. I think real hardwood flooring would sell faster than all tile. Tile is nice in the baths or kitchen. Pergo and Laminate flooring is a cheep way to go and give you no more value than cheep carpet.

That comes out to $250 which is also what i charge as a minimum fee. Other tile contractors may charge you to cut the tiles. This is just what I would charge. Not seeing the jobsite or the tile makes it more difficult to estimate costs.

What are these, where can I find it, etc?: Mosaic tile sheets, and you should be able to find them at most home improvement stores, like Home Depot, etc.

Q: Can you give me your opinion? White beveled subway tiles with dark gray marble floors, or mahogany brown large rectangular floors with matching size walls in beige tile? I was thinking of adding a glass border for accent, the tile store lady told me to put it up high, one right below the last cut of tiles as opposed to between the faucet and mirror. Q: We are buying our first home and want to do some updating but are on a budget. We are not experienced in do-it-yourself home projects but would like to try.How simple or how difficult is installing carpet tiles? We know nothing about them really.: you can do it- just follow instructions. When I was a kid we garbage picked the carpet stores for left over remnants- any size. When we had enough we took them to the basement and randomly glued them to the floor for a patchwork design. If a kid can glue carpet down- so can you.

Q: I purchaced this tile in 2003 fromThe Tile Shop. I had an incident occure which led me to look for 5 more tiles. I was told by The Tile Shop that they were discontinued. I‘ve called everywhere( in Kansas and Missouri). So far I haven‘t had any luck. where can I find the ceramic tile color Yosemite Sand 13 inch square. I need atleast 5 of them. Q: I just finished my bathroom but when i used the oil based kilz there was a little spray back that landed on the tile floor.: Depending on the type of tile you might be able to use a sharp knife (exacto or paring knife) and gently remove the spots. If you have any kind of ceramic tile that would work (in my experience) except perhaps on the grouted areas. If you have grout and the Kilz is in/on the grout you might have to actually scrape some of the grout off and then reseal the grout. Good luck. It's laborious work but it should work. If you have linoleum tile I wouldn't do that because it might remove the finish. The next time you go to the paint dept. at the store ask them how to do it if you haven't solved the problem
