- Q: I am always browsing phones and getting tempted by every new gadget I work hard all day long in my job but i keep spending all my money on these high end smartphone I which I don't even use any advise on how to stop spending a lot of money on mobile phones thanks.
- when you're buying a mobile phone don't get a flip phone. I had 3 flip phones in the past and flip phones don't last that long. and they tend to be easier to break too. When you get a cellphone think about what you will be using the cellphone more for? are you going to be using the cellphone more for texting, talking, emergencies only? If you are a texter and you talk a lot then I suggest you should get a slider phone with a keyboard because its easier to text with a full keyboard on your phone. if you plan on using your cell phone for emergencies then I suggest you can get a non flip phone say for instance a net 10 or a tracfone non flip/non slider phone. which one are you going more towards, prepaid or contract? If you have enough money to spend on a contract plan then I suggest you go with att. I have att contract and they are the best cellphone service. I don't get any dropped calls or dropped text messages and I get 5 air bar waves and I never had a problem with their service. If you don't like to spend a lot of money and you want to go with prepaid then I suggest you go with net 10. I use to have net 10 before I had att contract and from my experience net 10 never gave me any problems, it was easy to use and you would get 200 minutes for 20 dollars and you didn't get dropped calls or dropped text messages from them either and there were always bar waves on the phone so it was a good connection. the only thing I don't like about net 10 is you have to top up 20 dollars once a month because with 20 dollars they will give you 200 minutes but only 30 service days. make sure you shop around very carefully before you get a cellphone and check out the plans too. good luck :-)

- nope, because Verizon Phones dont have sim cards, and T mobile phones requires a Sim card to function the only other carrier you would be able to use that t mobile phone(if its unlocked) with would be ATT. and any other one that carries a Sim card(not sure if sprint has it)

- No it does not cost money to use wifi on your phone. The only thing you will have to pay for with wifi is the wifi router and your normal internet bill.

- The simple answer is no. The longer answer is maybe, but it will be a lot of work and maybe not worth it. VM has the Jax , which is a trimode phone. One of the few that can be used anywhere on Metro's network. The rest of VM's phones are older and even if they could be flashed to Metro, might not work in Metro's newest trimode areas. (Even phones made especially for Metro that are older won't work in trimode areas). The problem with VM is that they really lock their phones down. They disable usb/bluetooth and data a lot of times in order to prevent flashing to another network. And their phones are so cheap, all the time, energy and money flashing a VM phone often isn't worth it for a flashing pro to bother. It is easier, cheaper and faster to flash a Verizon or Sprint phone to Metro then it is any VM phone. Most Metro PCS flashers won't do Virgin Mobiles, especially the newer ones (like the trimode Jax). If you look on your local Craigslist, find an independent Metro flasher/dealer , call them up and ask if they can do VM phones. Make sure he is a dealer, because even if he can flash it, if he isn't a dealer, he won't be able to get it on the network making the flash useless. Don't bother with Metro PCS corporate or other stores. Most of the time they will not even bother with VM phones. Good luck if you are willing to undertake this challenging situation.
