Q: Hello, My dog chewed my carpet in my apartment in a few places. I dont think it needs completely replaced but I want to pass the inspection when I move. It is quite obvious in a couple of places and we just dont want to be held liable for whole apartment replacement. And laminates 2.5 a s/f for the laminate 2$ a s/f for installation. This will be about 3600$. Now the carpet price can be done at that price for a regular residential carpet and standard pad ( 5 1/2 # minimum) that will hold your warranties. Now these prices won t include any rip out and removal of the existing carpet or un seen floor prep. You may be able to get rip out included if some one wants the work, because of the economy.. Q: can olifine pile rugs go outdoors?: I've used them on my patio, but have experienced some problems particularly if they are rubber backed. Moisture gets between the backing and the fiber to cause little black spots on the rug which are mildew. If it rains and the rug stays hortizontal for any length of time, it will mold as well. The good news is that both can be removed with DampRid Mold and Mildew Remover (the one for fabrics) and it protects the rug from it happening again with little moisture exposure (not drenching, pouring soaking rain). If I'd have known about this product, I would have sprayed it on first before putting it outside and just picked it up when we have a heavy rain to keep it from molding.

Q: A bottle of gorilla glue spilt on the carpet (the kind that dries white) I can't get it off without tearing the carpet up...and I live in an apartment. Do I have to rip the carpet out or is there a way of getting it off. If I have to rip the carpet out how do I replace that patch?: I recommend renting a carpet steamer and running the spot over a few dozen times, if that doesn't work then you might need to patch it, alternatively any Non-bleach cleaner (Unless your carpet is white) and a lot of elbow grease has never been known to hurt

I have resolve foaming spray but I was just wondering if you had any other ideas.Thanks!: Carpeting okorder . Think about it for a second, when you put shampoo in your hair, do you not rinse it out. Many products on the market are a rip off, and this foaming spray is one of them. The carpet needs to be hot water rinsed and extracted to come clean, and no, this does not hurt the carpet.

Q: Can anyone help me with this. It is cold out at the minute but not actually such a big deal as he is in the stable at night. Sacking the horse i love doing this. You need 2 people. The other person needs to be experienced. take a feed sack and tie it to the end of a lunge whip. With your friend holding the pony, move the sack around him. They may spook, get them over it. Over time you should be able to run the pony's whole body. This way it'll despook them of things like putting a rug on. I do this to my horses because you never know what will hit horse and its to be on the safe side.
