Q: Explain how this fan causes dirt to be picked up by the vacuum cleaner.: When the fan spins, it creates a region of lower than atmospheric pressure behind it and higher pressure ahead of it. The region of lower pressure is open to the area you are cleaning. This reduced pressure causes air (and hopefully what you are trying to pickup) to be pulling into the vacuum and passes through the fan and into bag or bin.

Q: My 7 month old is scared of vacuum cleaners. He loves the canister the best, he likes to vacuum then when I use it he rides on the canister part. He is also obsessed with any kind of tool. If you are changing the batteries in something you better get him his own driver as he calls it. He also loves shovels, you can't hardly get anything done with him around. He also loves dosedose (bulldozers) he remembers where all of them are from here to town and will start pointing and yelling before we are even there. He also loves lawnmowers.

Q: It's $199 Cnd., and there's a $249 pet dust model, too. 24 cyclone tech, 17 ft. stretch hose, furniture attachments. Not to be confused with the earlier Shark models. It promises to do same job as competition twice the price, but y'know....Vacuum Cleaners.I just don't feel like doing the 'buy, try, and return' routine, so opinion from someone will be appreciated.: ummm the best vacuum in the dyson

Q: Which vacuum cleaner moves easier for a person in a wheelchair? Are there controls that you have to use your feet for? How do they work in small rooms?: The new dyson dc24 with the ball is super duper light weight and easy to push and turn. I don't know anything about a shark. The dyson is nice because the hose is so easy to pop out, and it has a handle so one could easily clean crevices and corners. The switches are on the main part of the vacuum, right below the handle and above the canister. It would work very well in a small room because it is a small vacuum.

Q: A vacuum cleaner is supposed to do just that: clean! And that’s what my old vacuum wasn’t doing. And it was so heavy! . Is it really lighter than the one which are there in the market. Doesn’t it have a bag to dispose like in other conventional models?: Funny you should ask, because I have seen more Dysons being thrown out than any other vacuum cleaner, when the local dustmen collect. I have a 10 year old Electolux Mondo which still works fine. I have heard that Dysons have expensive accessories like filters that need changing regularly.
