yes, i would change spark plugs and wires. the spark plugs will fire better an make you get better fuel milage, and same with the wires. the wires after so much age depending on how close the wires are can have small arcs go between the wires and cause miss firing/pre ignition making it harder on the engine.
Q: I have an old house and am replacing a dimmer switch in the kitchen.The old switch is has only 2 wires coming out of the switch that are both black. From the wall 2 wires connect to the 2 black wires on the switch, one is black which I have concluded is hot and the other is red, which must be the common wire. The panel has the set up so that a 3 phase breaker can be next to each other for example Breakers left side of panel 1= #1 line 3= # 2 line 5 = #3 line Neutral is the large bar on the side were the ground line goes. don't attach a neutral line to a breaker!!!!!! Make sure you buy a 3 phase breaker for equipment with that voltage and phase.
