Which depends on functional characters: little deflection of geometry dimention, no radiocative property, specific activity of 226Ra: Ira ≤1.0 and specific activity of 226 Ra 232 Th, 40 K: Ir ≤ 1.3. Both products and packages can be recycled.

Q: Gypsum board plus alkali-free glass fiber benefits
Ordinary paper gypsum board: ivory white board core, gray paper, is the most economical and common varieties. Applicable to non-special requirements of the use of places, the use of continuous relative humidity of not more than 65%. Because of the price reasons, many people like to use 9.5mm thick ordinary gypsum board to do the ceiling or wall, but because the 9.5mm plain gypsum board is relatively thin, the intensity is not high, prone to deformation under wet conditions, so It is recommended to use more than 12mm gypsum board. At the same time, the use of thicker plates is also an effective means of preventing joint cracking.
Q: We had a plaster ceiling that was cracking. We put new drywall up over the ceiling and finished the seams. We have finished drywall before, but only on wall. Apparently ceilings are alot harder. We have a tetured wall and really do not want a texture on the ceiling (we would never be able to match the textures anyway). We have primed and painted the ceiling with flat paint and can see the seams. We do not have alot of light in the room either. Does anyone have any suggestions to hide the seams? Thanks
This is why you see a lot of ceilings with popcorn texture. The acoustic texture hides the flaws. Yes ceilings are harder cause you are working over head. You should use a 12 broad knife on the seams. The topping compound should be at least 12 or more inches wide. This will feather out the seam. A good dry wall-er could do this in no time and he wouldn't charge you much. Spend a few extra bucks and hire out, you already did the hard part. Good luck.
Q: Fiberglass sound-absorbing ceiling features
Substrate: dry glass fiber synthesis, high strength. Surface decoration: acrylic paint non-combustible properties
Q: Upstairs noise how can we install sound insulation material can have effect?
In their own sound insulation ceiling, the use of keel overhead, with the use of sound-absorbing cotton, noise insulation or noise board and other sound insulation materials, reduce the noise downstairs noise down (for upstairs can not handle this method to do more)
Q: We just had our first child, and his room is right above the garage. It is noticebly colder in his room, especially the floor. I used the plastic window kits and that helped, however, the floor is still extremely cold and I would like to at least check the insulation in the garage ceiling. Right now there is drywall on the ceiling, but I have no qualms about ripping it down, not real worried what it looks like. What should I look for...I believe there is very old (50 years) fiberglass insulation but i'm not 100% sure. If there is the old insulation there...should I look to replace it? If so, with what R value...Is this a project that someone without specific experience in the field could complete? I'm pretty handy but certainly not a pro. I'm not worried at all how it looks in the garage.
It is a two person job. Take down the drywall. Examine the insulation that is there. If it looks good and fills the gap vertically and horizontally then leave it be. Add more insulation by getting rigid foam insulation and tacking it to the joists. Then drywall over the insulation. R-30 is a very good target, but go for what you can get. Don't oversuff cavities, that lowers the value of insulation.
Q: What are the commonly used materials for store decoration? Can you talk about their construction process? Thank you
This look at how you installed, what you open the shop. Different business decoration is not the same. You can find a good decoration company can give you design.
Q: I'm afraid that joint compound might not adhere well to plywood.
Joint compound will adhere very well to the plywood, but the movement of the plywood from temperature and humidity changes will cause the compound to crack. If this is an issue, batten strips may be the answer.
Q: I had the roof replaced last summer, but havent had the energy to get up there and take down the ceiling tiles and the fiberglass insulation. I started removing it a section at a time a week ago, and wow! What a mess!. Gravel is falling down on my head and the insulation and tiles are dry now, but its still hard to pull them out. Should I be wearing a mask? Is there anything in the old dried out insulation and ceiling tiles that I should cover my nose? Its making a really big mess, so any suggestions will be helpful.
No Brainer , YES,YES,YES. You might even put on ball cap.
Q: How good is the Burton Hotel in Dubai?
The only seven-star hotel in the world - Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Q: We just remodeled and now have a family room in our basement. This is right under our upstairs living room. All noise in the basement comes directly upstairs. There is duct work running across the basement ceiling to the floor vents in the living room. We have nothing on the basement ceiling right now. Any suggestions of how to reduce the sound coming up? And no, getting rid of our kids is not an option!
Accoustical privacy is important in some shared spaces. There is sound attenuation batting which can be used between joists & around ducting even w/ a lay in type ceiling. Rigid fiber insulation is available for ducting as well. Regular fiberglass insulation is less expensive if you fill the entire space between joists. There is also sound damping drywall that can be used on ceiling but a double thickness of the regular stuff is less expensive will work ( but double the work) Have seen all of these remedies used on fmr job specified by accoustical engineers. Does not seem to be as much of a problem in residential type frame construction. Take one step at a time.. Might go for the duct wrap first & see how that goes then add batting then see how that goes then decide how you want to finish it off . The ducts are the main culprit but are the easiest part to fix. if needed , under floor batting will help kill noise from above as well as contain noise from below. Best regards
