First get some rubber casters to place under each leg, preferable ones with sides to it. This will protect the floor. Second, stop the wheel from rolling by taking some folded paper and stuffing it into the wheel at the top so it jams the wheel and it can't roll.

- get every thing out of cupboard , throw away sofa covers if they are no good, wipe out the cupboard with a hot cloth soapy water then wipe dry. soak the plates in very hot water, when water has cooled a little give them a good scrub with a scourer. Even give oven ware a clean if needed, if you have plastic stuff best to buy new ones take it with you when you move again Then arrange plates in one pile oven ware in another in cupboard.
